HulaBilly played at WXCI and our Coffee Shop called Coffee Please in 2003 and it was serendipity. They were perfectly aligned and the place was packed. Years later I was contacted by Brian Fostervold and he sent me this Youtube movie of the event and I cried with joy. How to make your home business Pop with music and good Ukele. The movie is seamless from the Coffee Please Shop to The WXCI to their Interview and LIVE Studio Performances as well. https://youtu.be/jh5eQ7Otnis

I haven't come across too many current acts to play on the air. Besides Hulabilly, the only one I've come across are The Hula Cats from NC (http://www.whosethatrecords.com/hulacats.html)
But, if there's any others out there with a CD to push, PLEASE get in touch (shoutwxci@hotmail.com) I'd love to give the uke more airtime. I do play alot of older material (King Bennie, Uke Bob Williams, lots of hokum).

Brian, do you feature any other Hawaiian or ukulele performers on your show? We'd love to hear about them. Aloha, Gary

I had Hulabilly play on my radio show a few months ago. If you get the chance, go see them live. They're excellent musicians playing excellent, catchy, and well-crafted songs. A rare find these days. They're at www.hulabilly.com
