Lynda, Yes I have had the individual LOUISE pattern salt for a long time. Got it at the Southfield Antique show back when I used to go to them in the mid 1990s. The seller is a well known pattern glass lady. I guess she didn't know it was so rare since I got it for $22. As far as the RUTH pattern goes, no one has ever seen one that I know of, and since it was not pictured in the Fostoria catalog, it may have never been made.

Oops...I think that might be one of Judy's pictures. Thought I grabbed one of my own pictures but it's hard to tell from the thumbnail image. Sorry Judy.

I was thinking of ribs more like this that resemble stripes.

Ribbed panel made by many companies. I think Heisey is one of them. I remember us talking about these... vagly. I think Judy had some info on this one. This might be #2694. Riverside? I need to Chek my drawers for this salt and see if it has center dots or just the star
(? Daisy) in base. Anyways..... ribs in body cover our topic, yes?

Huh, this may be a challenge. Here is red, white and blue. The Berg family had these made for the people who took the time to sell the Berg collection. There was 1 left over and I was able to get it. I figured as I won about 30 Berg auctions, I was a great helper too. Lolololololol

Can be glass or china, clear glass or multi-colored. Bimini glass is a good example and I don't think we ever did that one. It might take some looking around your collections to see what fits.
