the last few days were very cold, today is better, and the wind isn't blowing us away. We should finally warm up into the eighties by the end of the week. Here's one (I know, not officially a salt, but.....) looking forward to the end of the cold weather

Look at you go Linda. Nice way to almost close the month. So many pretties.
I was wondering, and I know I have not posted for forever, but...... Now that I can do pictures, Debi, have we done a combo of: Feathers, Fish and/or Fur? It would cover anything not human. I know I have quite a few in those areas and I am sure Linda, Lynda, Nancy D and V have a lot also. I promise I would get back in the habit of posting.... Well I would no matter what the topic was....

Nancy V. I'm just trying to not be frustrated, The car is on it's last legs and I am not comfortable driving it, Hate the feeling that I'm confined to the house, can drive the pick up, but if husband is driving it I'm stuck

Lynda, the salt is fastened with some sort of good glue, but that could have been done by an individual as well as at a factory. It isn't fastened by a rivet or anything going through the salt. It does look much like the base of the cat match holder.

Mt. Washington apple blossom master salt. The stand is right for the maker, but I'm not sure they came out of the factory together. The salt is fastened to the stand, but I don't think I've ever seen this combination before. Any thoughts?

I bought this piece from a seller who specialized in Monroe Glass at an antiques fair just outside Kansas City some years ago.

I don't have a lot of sterling, but this one is small and cute. Mary is on a kick. She's getting stunning sterling doubles with glass salts attached and sterling pedestals with glass salts attached. They are just unbelievably beautiful. Total knockouts. Good thing she likes to shine the darned things.

I showed these in a group under my end table. Here they are more individually.

That's o.k. Lynda. And I have both of these just different holders.

I just scrolled down to compare, and my pink striped may be a little different, maybe more ruffled.

Ooh, Lynda, that apricot colored salt is like mine that I really love. It's posted way down at # 16. I don't think you have to call it a marriage when you put an art glass salt into a holder that fits. I am always thrilled when I find an extra holder. I switch my salts around in various holders all the time.

Lots of neat ones, Linda. I think I'd try putting that lovely English flower from your first photo into the holder you like, final post at 141. If it fits, both would look great. The little orange salt with the narrow grooves doesn't really need a holder.
