Three of us were definitely around to put in the night action if we're the mafia. Bwon was around not long before night fell. Could be a really short night.

Options:
1) Clarinet dies. It's Graeham/Me/Bwonsamdi. Easy pickings, since Graeham is fully confirmed at this point and seems to trust me. Bwon is lynched and town wins.
2) I die. I don't have to personally worry. it's Graeham/Clarinet/Bwon. Graeham seems to trust Clarinet. Need to seriously hope that Clarinet isn't the Godfather, which I still think is very plausible.
3) Bwonsamdi dies. Bit of a what the fuck happened night. Graeham/Clarinet/Me. Clearly it's Clarinet, but will Graeham believe that?
4) Graeham dies. Much more than a bit of a what the fuck happened night. Me/Bwon/Clarinet. I'd be unsure. I'd probably go Bwon, but...I'd feel really uncomfortable doing it.
5) Graeham blocks the kill, nobody dies.

Of course, if Clarinet is the godfather, then obviously he won't die.

Graeham almost certainly survives. I might die, though. Certainly not impossible.

Does Clarinet die tonight? He's the only guaranteed kill.

Well, this is good news. With the SK dead, four players left and an actual night phase, that means mafia are down to 1 player.

lol

I accuse Bwonsamdi of flailing about this whole game, but can I honestly say that I'm not the one that's been flailing this whole time? Cannibals make for panicked thoughts and actions.

Ah...just noticed that with the actual excel file open, I can use my mouse to highlight a row to match with the appropriate column, but in the imgur versions you can't do that which makes it harder to match voter with voted. In order to make a posted image version more readable, I'd need to add border lines to all boxes so that they can read it, which is much les aesthetically pleasing. Ouch. Well, I don't exactly plan on sharing these most of the time, and if ever I do I can just temporarily put the borders in while I take the screen shot. Not a big issue, really.

Hey, could you pass along my thanks to Firebert in the dead thread for his vote record picture from day 1? It has allowed me to meld that thing and my old method into a new method that I just generally like better, or at least early testing seems to indicate I'll like it better.

In comparison to the chart that Firebert posted on day 1...

My chart is a bit cleaner, I think, since I've removed the vast majority of the numbers and am letting the colours do the talking. I cut out a lot of repetitive typing by doing so. Additionally, I don't have names in the middle of the chart which I feel clutters it up significantly, instead choosing to have them listed to the left right next to the post #. However, this is what causes my version's problem of being more effort to read. You need to match the far left column (voter column) to the top row (votee column) to see who is voting for the person. In his version, you can just follow the votee's column straight down and see the name right there, which is convenient. Less aesthetically pleasing, perhaps, but convenient. However, I also noticed that he is skipping lines in the post # column in order to fit in some details.

Red font on player names means unvote, black means vote. Great for readability, but conflicts with my desire to colour code them based on the alignments they flip upon dying. Also, perhaps unnecessary because you already colour coded and numbered the votes in the columns, so you already can tell at a glance when it's a vote or unvote. I admit, it's probably better to put the player names in the middle of the chart, but it looks so damn cluttered that way. Actually, no...I suspect that if I were to colour code the names based on alignment when they are in the middle of the chart, it would dramatically hurt readability as the alignment colours clash with the vote # colours. I think if I want to do my alignment colour coding, it may be an unfortunate necessity for it to be out from the middle of the chart. I guess I could have them in the middle and at the side, but that dramatically increases the amount of typing I do, and the new method's biggest draw was that it dramatically cut down on the amount of times I type people's names.

His version of only putting columns for those who have been voted against is a definite plus for reducing the workload of the one making the chart, and it reduces empty space a lot, but it also means you don't see all the living players that could have been voted against and it's in a nearly random order each day. I think I prefer my method.

Most other things seem to be a purely aesthetic difference. Different colour choices, for example.

Honestly, if I were to give constructive criticism for him, the only thing I'd really recommend as a solid quality of life improvement for him without any real drawbacks is to stop putting the numbers in every single cell. He's adding a lot of extra work for himself when, thanks to the colour coding it's actually much more pleasing to the eye and no less readable to just have the number in place when it changes.
