Mary, we also did your suggestion in March 2020. That's a bit too recent. I've been giving this some thought and want to get back to basics. It was never supposed to be about how many salts everyone could post or how to justify adding salts that didn't really apply. So we are going to start over with specific makers and specific types.

Hey Debi, I do not think we have done misc materials. Any salt not made of glass, silver or porcelain. Okay, I just checked and we did it back in 2013. I am sure collections have changed since then. Just a thought.

Before this category is over, I just have to add the elegant black swan that matches Lynda’s white swan #97. I have both and they are not old, but they are gorgeous!

I told Jane about Beach day. She is so busy caring for her sick husband, she has little time to herself. Nice to see her here. Lake Michigan has beaches. And there are swans on those beaches. Yay.

I always knew I'm not a beach person, but I'm a complete flop with beach motif salts. I have one pretty thin porcelain shell, no photo, and nothing I can find saved except this wader bird. Probably a small glass rather than a salt.

Mary, the bowl of this salt matches the one with a mermaid sitting on the tail. I don't know if they were sold as a pair or not. I bought mine separately but the glass bowls are a perfect match. I posted them at #27. The "whale tail" salts were bought together so I assume they are a legit pair, although the tails are different.

This is the single coral salt, another like Lynda’s double in #7. They were Commemorative salts at one of the earlier conventions.I don’t think they were very popular. 6th Convention in Chicago.

I think we all have a little more fun scanning through our collections to fit the topic. So anything related to a day at the beach or in the water and sand...turtles, lobsters, crabs are a few more.
