Jan, that blue lacy is gorgeous. Makes me wish I'd gone for lacies.

I took a few pictures of blue salts in my cabinet, forgive the poor photos of some.

First is a group of 5 in a base, 4 of them blue. Some are hobnail, all small individual size.

At this point I'm not buying damaged salts unless they are very rare or I'm just dying to have them. I guess the exceptions mean I sometimes will buy damaged ones. Especially buying on line though you can't tell how bad the damage really is.

The English seller is honest about the damage, shows three chipped feet, one worse than the other two.

Nebraska Linda, I spotted what looked like a flaw on the first photo of the Davidson blue still on ebay, and the seller admitted it was damaged, scrape or flake, and he hadn't noticed. He looks like a good seller, so maybe he hadn't. I've failed to notice damage but saw it when I was taking photos to list. I don't like that he holds items in his hand in photos.

Lynda, yes, I have the identical boat shape in red.

Nancy D, if you hear someone upstairs rummaging around in your salts, don't call the law. It's only me looking for that blue #9. Everytime I see that salt my heart stops for a second.
There's a blue in there. Not Bimini but very thin and light.

For some reason I want to sing "Blue Bayou." I guess a color topic will put us in a repeat mode. But blue is still beautiful. Do we need this one for the H/J project?
