I have graded the exams and projects. Last few people have been contacted.
A 43
B 10
C 0
D 2
E 0

F's are only for those who have not done all components or quitted the course early...

You would be better off by asking in person the exact grades.

Soon will make available the grade sheet...

On the exam paper's heading it was written that long answers don't give extra points and focus on main topics and add concrete examples. To answer your question no it wasn't all long theoretical questions. One contingency table, and general overview of 3 different topics. Personally, I tried to give short answers.

Thanks John, Exam is the last thing remaining for DM, so its worth worrying about, I think, so all the questions were long theoretical questions?

Thanks Jaak for the update, but Is it possible to let us know how many questions will be there and for how many marks?

The first exam has already happened.

And I remind you that I have always always stressed that you need to have a general overview and understanding of many different topics covered in the course. The overall process of DM, preprocessing, visualisation, clustering, predictive analytics, OLAP...

The *basics*

Thanks aqeel, but did he mentioned anything about the exam pattern, about no of questions, their type and their weightage(marks for each question)?
Seems like there is no information about the exam, whats the use of cheat sheet if we do not know how many questions will be there and their type(MCQs, theory questions, etc.)

Is there anyone reading the forum from faculty? If yes, can anyone suggest the exam pattern(Open internet/book or closed everything?).
No of Questions etc.!

No, it should be free for all of you. I just called the multimedia to clarify. They had not been very sure (especially now after stricture reform at the university). They will print all and send a single internal invoice to me for our institute.

It appears that two of you have already paid themselves. They are willing to reimburse you and send the internal invoice instead. Sorry for the inconvenience, but if you go there you save the cost of a few beers.

So all should be fixed.

Ps. Why is it so hard to understand that it is very hard to reply to anonymous comments... You have managed to destroy all my sympathy towards the anonymous message boards.

Nooo, the printing shop makes people pay for posters.

Isn't it supposed to be free?

Dear Prof.

We didn't talk about the examination pattern(Open internet/book or closed everything?). I don't know how to prepare for the exam, if we get some guidance on that, e.g. few sample questions etc. can help us.
