I am reading a science fiction book called Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, it's 338 pages long. I was gone on Friday, so on Wednesday I ended on page 33. I chose this book because it sounded interesting. The main character, Juliette, kills people with her touch and has been put in an insane asylum. This book is in the future and The Reestablishment is now planning to use her as a weapon. I was surprised by how poetic Tahereh Mafi writes, most science fiction books aren't written like that. I really like it. At the beginning of the book it showed how Juliette is living, which is very poorly. She gets fed once a day on good days. The second conflict that was introduced to her was having a roommate thrown in her room. His name is Adam and he is not insane, like her. She hasn't talked to anyone is hundreds of days and is paranoid that she'll hurt him accidentally. She seems like a good person to me so far, but extremely lonely. She flashes back to life with her parents before she was taken and they never touched her or loved her like a kid needs to be. I plan on continuing reading this book.

I am reading a Sci-Fi book called The Death Cure by James Dashner, it is 324 pages long and I have stopped on page 169. I have choosen this book to read because it is the third book in The Maze Runner series! I absolutely loved this series and I've watched all of the movies, but this book hasn't been made into a movie but i'm so excited to watch it when it is. When I read the first few chapters I got totally hooked onto this book because I knew exactly where it left off at. I felt as if I was in Thomas's world and feeling exactly what he was feeling throughout all of the chapters. After I first read 2 chapters I found myself thinking about the book when I wasn't even reading it, and when I get home I sit on the couch and keep reading. I have found myself just wanted to read it, but I don't want the book to be over because it's so good! James Dasher does use some vocal words that I don't know but they don't throw me off, I simply just keep on reading ahead and pretend the word was never there. I plan on sticking to this book because I love it, and I'm almost done with the book, I know that I will probably end up reading the rest of the series.

I am reading a realistic fiction book called Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott. The book is 250 pages long, and I stopped today on page 79. The first few chapters jumped right in to the story and told you about the main characters and a little bit about what happened in the past to them. I am happy to keep reading because every chapter you learn something new about how the character feels or what their past was like. I am only confused about the main character Abby's plan to wake her sister Tess up from her coma. I don't think that her plan would ever work in real life, but this is a book so I guess anything could happen. Sometimes it just randomly has a flashback and sometimes that it confusing but it doesn't do that very often. Yes, I am going to keep reading the book because I can kind of relate to the main character and I think it is a quick read becasue of how short the chapters are.

I am reading The 100 by Kass Morgan and it is 323 pages long and i have stopped on page 105. I would say the cover of my book bothers me. This book has been made into a TV show and on the cover are the pictures of those characters from it. I don't like seeing the characters because I like to make up what the characters look like in my head. The book is very plain, the cover is black with white font, and a little blue. But one thing I have learned from past books was to not judge it by its cover. The summary was very interesting that was on the back of the book. It kind of reminded me of the book Divergent. To be honest I don't think I would check the book out if my friend wouldn't of told me to.

I am reading the book Outlaw Platoon. It has a total of 359 pages. I stopped reading at page 70 today. After reading the first three chapters of the I am amazed to say the least. Just after reading those couple of chapters the book has gotten my attention. It is crazy to think that everyone of our men serving has most likely seen or done thing that they wish they never would have. I find the book to be very good it sucked me in after the first chapter and has only gotten better since. It toys with you emotions also, it just shows how hard and how crazy it is overseas. One thing I am confused by right now is all the different characters I believe as I start getting further into the book I will better understand who they are and what role they play but right now I am kind of confused. I plan on sticking with this book for many different reasons, but once I am done with it I am going to look in to reading many more stories like this one.

I am currently reading Calico Joe by John Grisham. The book is 194 pages and I am currently on page 79. I like this book and think it is well written. There are some more difficult words but other than that it is fairly simple to read and enjoyable. I like how the main character is trying to make peace with thinks his father has done in the past. The main character seems to be a good person but had a difficult child hood and is very distant from his father. Though well written, I do not quite understand why Calico Joe left baseball and has not been very public after this mysterious even. I do however think it has something to do with what the main characters dad did. I like this book and plan to keep reading it. I will also look for other books similar to this on in the future because I am enjoying this book.

I am reading a book called The Toy Taker by Like Delaney. This book has 528 pages, I have stopped on page 106. I think the book cover is very appealing to the reader's eye. The title is very mysterious and makes you want to reader. I think that the picture they used for the cover goes well with the title, as well as the context. Teenagers would be drawn to the cover, and want to read it. I think that the title is very mysterious and doesn't give a lot of clues to what will happen. This makes people want to read it more because they are full of suspense. The colors of the cover are dark colors, mostly black or grey; this fits in with the creepy theme.

The book that I am reading is The Making of A Navy SEAL by Brandon Webb. This book has 207 pages and today I stopped on page 91. The reason that I chose this book is because I think that any thing that involves the Military is pretty cool. What makes this book very interesting is that it allows the reader to have a first person view on every thing that a Navy SEAL goes through. From BUD/S training, and personal life, all the way down to their life in the Navy. Also one reason that I chose this book is because I have always been interested in the military and I am not 100% sure what I want to do when I graduate high school. I think that reading this book will help me make a decision and also leave me with an important out look on life its self. My book is about Brandon Webb and how he becomes a Navy Seal. It all started when he was a kid and couldn't stay out of trouble; His father was in the military and was constantly moving. As he gets older he takes interest in SCUBA diving and makes his money there. As he his helping with diving a group of Navy SEALS recommends he checks out the Navy. So when he is finally old enough he checks it out. That is how far I am currently.

I am reading the book Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. This book is 342pages and I stopped on page 167. I am going to talk about the second option and what my thoughts are so far on the book. So far this book is pretty good, it reminds me of Beauty and the Beast but a little different. I am starting to get into it, the main character(s) are starting to become more in depth in the story. I am a little confused on some parts of the story, but the more I read the more I am less confused. One of the characters I don't understand is the main girl everything is happening to, she wants to do one thing but she never does. She seems to go two steps froward and one step back every time, throughout the story. The language of the book is usually pretty easy to understand, except when it comes to some of the riddles the main character figures out. I do plan to stick with this book, it seems pretty good so far.

I am reading Liars, Inc. by Paula Stoke. There are 400 pages and today I stopped on page 116. The first few chapters of this book confused me because it started in the present and then started going back to the past. So far it has been really interesting and mysterious. I keep reading because there is always some sort of new action going on or it is giving me clues to what might happen in the next chapters. I don't know everything about some characters so, I am confused on the roles they play in the book. I don't know much information on so characters so that also keeps my interest. I am planning to stick with this book.

The book that I am reading is The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong. It has 359 pages, and today I stopped on page 89. So far I like reading this book. At first I was confused with some of the characters and didn't understand why they were doing things. As I kept reading I found out more about the characters and understood what I didn't toward the beginning of the book. Right away in the book I couldn't understand what was happening and why certain characters were changing. When I got to the following chapters I learned more about who they were and what was going on. I am going to continue reading this book.

I am currently reading The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender. This book has 329 pages, and I stopped on page 253. This book has been very interesting and dark, leaving me to want to read more. I had this book recommended to me by a librarian here, and greatly appreciate her doing so. I have never read any other books by this author, but I plan on checking some more out. I can really understand her writing style, and enjoy it very much. There isn't anything in this book that is confusing, the plot is well thought out, the characters were all thoroughly introduced, and the setting really gives the book the horror feeling. I do plan on continuing with this book until I have finished reading it.

I am reading a Memoir/AutoBiography called A Work In Progress by Connor Franta. The book has 212 pages today I stopped on page 191. I decided to read this book because I originally read another youtube's book (Joey Graceffa's In Real Life). The idea of youtube has always interested me, because it would be a way to produce creative content that would be all about me. No one would be my boss really, it would all be up to me. Anyway I also began to watch many youtubers when I was younger and happened to come across these people when i was struggling with things in my life. I always felt that i was able to relate to Connor because he grew up in a small town in the midwest ( a small town in Minnesota). So far the book has been very interesting and showing a side of him he never shows on the internet. On the internet you tubers tend to make themselves look perfect, because why wouldn't you. Whatever goes on the internet stays there forever. I've really enjoyed reading about how Connor grew up and coped with struggles he has had so far in his life. I am very excited to see how he ends his book.

I am reading The Shadow Prince by Bree Despain. It has 481 pages, and I stopped on page 131. My first impressions of the book, is that it is a very good book. It has a great plot so far, and has a lot of action. I am very compelled to keep reading this book because it has a lot of cliff hangers. It makes you want to keep reading to find out what will happen later on. The characters are finding a lot of trouble, and because of their mistakes, I want to see what will happen because of their actions. Because this book is very well written, it has a lot of details, so I am not confused about what is happening. This book has a lot of words that I have never heard of before, so I have had to go back and use context clues. This book is very intriguing so far, and I plan to stay with it.

I'm reading Fifty Shades Freed by EL James. This book has 579 pages and I am on page 72. Since I have been reading the first 70 pages of this book, I have been drawn into it. This is the third book in the series and judging from the first few chapters I have read, so far, it seems to be my favorite one from the series. I am very excited to keep reading the rest of the book. In this book they are finally married and I can't wait to see how the book plays out. Since I have read the first two books, I am very familiar with almost all of the characters and their roles in the book. However, there are a couple new characters and I am just a little confused with where they came from. The language in this book, is almost identical to the first to books and now I am able to comprehend all of it. I know for a fact I will be sticking with this book.

I am reading the science fiction book called Reboot. The book has 365 pages, and I stopped today on page 219. I picked the book by first reading the spine of the novel. The name Reboot stuck out to me because it had a tech-like name that would indicate that the book is a science fiction novel. Then I took book of the shelf and looked at the cover. The cover says, "5 years ago, I died. 178 minutes later, I woke up." Now the book has my attention tenfold because those words show some of the plot elements. After that i turned the book over and was officially hooked.
