I finished reading the cellar and it had 340 pages.

E. There was a lot of suspenseful moments in the novel. Its about this girl who is kidnapped and she is forced to live with 3 other girls. The guy that kidnaps her names the girls after flowers so he can have a "perfect family".

E. The Dome that the kids are stuck in is changing from its pearly white to a tar black. Its slowly creeping up the dome blocking out the sun and stars. But also kids are beginning to see their worst fears. And even on top of that, the town has split into two groups and tensions rise between the two groups. Without the creator of the dome what will happen?

I finished reading The Cellar today and continued reading The Year of Secret Assignments. I am on page 199 out of 340.
E. There is a lot of distress in the novel I just finished today. In The Cellar Summer is kidnapped and forced to live a life she doesn't want. Her kidnapper, Clover, kills girls who sells their body for money and dumps them in the reservoir. The could definitely set off the signal to warn people of Sum's disappearance.

I'm reading Second Impact, it has 278 pages and I stopped on page 227 today.

The book takes place in the late fall, so there is some snow. The weather doesn't play a huge part in the novel, but it adds to feel of the book. Jerry describes the weather when he's playing because that is how much football means to him. He likes snow in football, because it throws off the other team.

i just started Gardenia by Kelsey Sutton. The book has 258 and I'm on page 27.
 B. In my book, Kennedy is cold and foggy. Ivy meets his girl that just moved to Kennedy High School. Amanda Ryan was laying on train track and was trying to kill herself. Ivy was yelling at her to get off because Ivy tried to kill herself too but she couldn't do it. Amanda was laying there on the track and her feet were frozen from her shoes she was wearing.

I'm reading The Memory of Light; I'm on page 290 out of 324.
C. In my book, there is a big part about flowers. Ivy and Gabrial are into gardening. They both love roses. They do a lot of gardening while they are in the hospital and that's how they got so close. Now Ivy left and her stepmother brought her yellow roses.

I finished The Summer of No Regrets and am now reading The Thing About the Truth. I stopped on page 25 of 285.
D. My story is about Kelsey, a non-sporty girl, who is being strongly encouraged to join a sport. She is a new kid at the same school as Isaac, who is also trying out for the sports teams. They both dislike sports but are being strongly encouraged (forced) to join to make up for previous mistakes. Also, they dislike each other from previous experiences and meetings. When both of them join cross country, the tensions reach an all new high.

I have recently finished Because of Low. I am currently reading While It Lasts by Abbi Glines. The book has 267 pages and I stopped on page 98.

D. The sport in my book that plays a role is baseball. The main character in my book, Cage, gets a DUI. The only thing he cares deeply about is baseball. He will do anything to keep his baseball scholarship. After getting the DUI, Cage could lose his scholarship. The only way to save it is by working his summer on a farm.

I finished reading The Zookeeper's Wife over the weekend. I am currently reading My Mother's Secret by J.L. Witterick. It has 190 pages and I stopped on page 112.
This book follows the lives of multiple different people that intertwine. One mom and daughter provide shelter for different Jewish families and a German soldier who is in hiding. Everyone of these people could use the distress signal throughout the whole book. If they are in danger of being caught they would have to use this signal. The mother and daughter who are hiding them could also use the distress signal to warn the hidden members of someone being in the house. If any of the people are found they would be shot along with the people who are hiding them. This danger would definitely cause the international distress signal to be used.

I am on page 175 of 374 in The Maze Runner. Sports and fitness do play a pretty big role in this book. In the Glade, there are people called "Runners" who spend all day running thought the maze and trying to find a way out. These runners must be in very good condition in order to run all day and to survive. The main character, Thomas, wants to become a runner so he can help them try to escape and figure out what is going on.

I am reading Among the Barons and am one page 82 out of 179.

E. There are many dangers that come with being an illegal third child. Luke has a fake I.D. and is now known as Lee Grant. Lee has a younger brother and that younger brother is in a lot of danger. Smits is his name and he is in a lot of danger as his bodyguard is trying to frame his death. He can't get the police involved because his "brother" is an illegal child.

I am reading 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I stopped on page 47 of 288. I didn't like the book I got last class, so I got 13 Reasons Why instead.

D. In my book, basketball is the sport in Hannah's school. The popular guys play it, and everyone loves it. Basketball leads some of the players to get scholarships from it. I think two of the guys Hannah talks about, plays basketball. That is only how sports play into the book.

Over the weekend I finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I started reading Escape from Asylum by Madeleine Roux, there are 340 pages and I am on page 33.
C. Rain is a very big part in my book. Around the asylum area, the weather tends to be gloomy and rainy. As Ricky, the main character, was heading to the asylum, it was raining, setting the mood of the beginning. Since rain is mostly seen as gloomy, dark, and depressing, it is a perfect weather for an asylum. Currently, all Ricky can here in his cell, is the rain pouring and screaming. Both dark and adds to the suspense.

I'm reading Wildflower by Drew Barrymore. I'm on page 49 of 273.
C- In my book the author Drew writes about her life. Recently I read about her farther dying. She used to bring him flowers in the hospital. When he died, she cremated him and put his ashes by this tree. The tree was called Joshua Tree. She loved that tree even though her dad was never around for her she still loved him. She cherished her time with him once he got sick.

I'm currently reading "The Eye of Minds," by James Dashner. I'm on page 34 out of 310. I finished "Necropolis" over the weekend also. May Day would be very useful in this book. Michael is already in danger within the first 30 pages of the book. He must first negotiate a girl named Tanya out of suicide, but fails. Next, he is kidnapped and has no idea why. Finally, the place he was taken to was ambushed and followed. So in conclusion, he is in danger a lot.
