On the second floor, the lobby between rooms is pretty narrow, it's basically a hallway. It's only several feet across.

Locker rooms and changing rooms are the same rooms.

That reminds me, I forgot to ask. Would using the rope on the pulley suffice for tying the ironing board in place and then having it swing around and hit the 38th floor window?

Nanjo - Today at 2:50 PM
That rope can only run from the pulley to the 42nd floor. It's only about that long.

Ignore the railings, the ironing board setup could have been leaned against the back of the elevator box, a normal person couldn't have climbed the wall of the building unassisted, if the lamp was just pushed out it wouldn't mess up the light, but strangling someone with the cord could potentially break it

Bloodstained window wasn't beneath 3942, white powder could have come from ceiling rumblings, some boards could fall off the edge when the spring was released, there weren't multiple lights on the roof, the pulley has more than one rope on it

White powder wasn't from the scratch on the blimp, roommate pairing are irrelevant, any telephone wires are larger than Abby's wound

Kachu - Today at 4:34 PM
Would like, the cord on a plug for a lamp fit with the marks on Abby's neck?

Nanjo - Today at 4:35 PM
We've debunked all hotel cords as they are too large (tv, phone, etc.)

A bunch of stuff about sounds that were heard, and some other logistics:

Hopelessniter - Today at 12:27 PM
Hey could the straps be used to keep Jerry and the ironing boards together?

Nanjo - Today at 12:29 PM
Yeah probably.

JesusMonroe - Today at 12:50 PM
Could you attach the pulley to the top of the elevator?

So like as it moves down it pulls something

Nanjo - Today at 12:52 PM
The pulley is on the wrong side as usual. You probably could, at the very least, attach a cable or rope to the top of the elevator.

Panda - Today at 1:14 PM
Is it possible that the two crashing noises people heard were Jerry, on the ironing board trolley, being pulled around the two doorways off of the blimp? Between the dining room and the hall, and then the exit onto the roof from the hall.

Nanjo - Today at 1:16 PM
Can tell crashing noises be described to be so I know we're talking about the same thing? There is a staircase out of the blimp btw, so that might make some noise if Jerry hit that, but I can't say unless the noise is described to me.

Panda - Today at 1:17 PM
Oscar (and the others) heard two sets of noises around 23:00, described as a bang and some clattering. It's that which made them try the elevator, after they heard the second set.

Nanjo - Today at 1:19 PM
Are those not in the evidence list?

Panda - Today at 1:19 PM
They're on the timeline.

(Things are mixed between the two.)

Nanjo - Today at 1:20 PM
But anyway, those happened minutes apart I think.

And Jerry probably wouldn't be that hearable just rolling cross the roof.

Also the clattering happened like for a few seconds after the bang.

So like if you imagine like Jerry and something falling a short distance, or ramming into a wall, it wouldn't be so sustained.

We'll say two seconds, just to be clear.

Panda - Today at 1:23 PM
Thanks for the clarifications, then.

Nanjo - Today at 1:24 PM
It also may have been like not all from the same place. Idk, it's a very unusual noise and so there are many difficulties in describing it.

Queenie Irenie - Today at 1:26 PM
Is it possible for something that fell to make the bang + clattering sounds?

Panda - Today at 1:27 PM
*fell down the elevator shaft

(Short falls wouldn't, Nanjo said above.)

Nanjo - Today at 1:30 PM
If it was like literally several like loud items and one fairly solid item or something.

Oh wait no. Clarification: the bang was more or less a bright sound, so it wouldn't have been something solid falling but rather like a quiet sonic boom.

Icarus - Today at 1:36 PM
Okay so more of a boom than a bang

Nanjo - Today at 1:36 PM
Well no because it's bright, oops. I wanted to compare it to like the sound of a gun, but that makes it sound like an explosion.

It sounds like a fire cracker if a fire cracker was bigger. Calling it a "pop" could be accurate.

Hopelessniter - Today at 1:40 PM
Could it be cables snapping?

Nanjo - Today at 1:47 PM
Okay so I'll hold off on answering that and say that the sound I'm imagining in my mind is roughly this I think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecHRaC3he70

Nanjo - Today at 2:11 PM
Cable snapping would be different I suppose.

Hopelessniter - Today at 2:14 PM
Very different

Panda - Today at 3:07 PM
Would ironing boards falling down the elevator shaft make the noise that people heard?

Nanjo - Today at 3:08 PM
Probably pretty similar, yeah.

I would describe ironing boards falling as a clatter for sure.

Panda - Today at 3:09 PM
And the bang?

Nanjo - Today at 3:10 PM

Not, not them falling down separately.

There was a lot of stuff that I can't copy cause I'm stuck on mobile but I did confirm that the white powder was not gymnastics/parkour chalk, Abby could not have been strangled with the Doctah Fun Timez hoodie, and Jack can grow cannabis out of his butt.

Pulley stuff:

And the pulley handle can only be reached from the roof, but you could reach any cord hanging from it from any hotel room next to the elevator

Collin1002 - Today at 8:27 PM

So it can be used to climb up to the roof, then, provided someone reached it?

Planetbox - Today at 8:28 PM

Yeah, it could have, though I don't think everyone could have climbed it

Queenie Irenie - Today at 8:34 AM
Does Jerry fit into one of the fridges?
Planetbox - Today at 8:35 AM
he'd probably fit in the freezer if you took all the shelves out
otherwise trying to cram him into one would be quite a display
Queenie Irenie - Today at 8:36 AM
the galley one?
Planetbox - Today at 8:36 AM
yeah galley one
Queenie Irenie - Today at 8:36 AM
and that one had no shelves
since it was completely empty
Planetbox - Today at 8:36 AM
no the shelves are still in there they just don't have anything on them
Queenie Irenie - Today at 8:36 AM

Panda - Today at 9:20 AM
Are there different tables in the ballroom? A white-clothed buffet table and yellow-clothed other tables?
Planetbox - Today at 9:23 AM
There are a bunch of tables in the ballroom with red tableclothes
The buffet table had a white cloth I think but it was designed specifically for that buffet table.
The table cloths in the dining room were all yellow originally. No one had seen a table cloth like the new white one before
Panda - Today at 9:24 AM
Ohhh, wait, I'm mixing dining room with ballroom, sorry.

JesusMonroe - Today at 2:06 AM
Could Abby see out the window from where she was tied up?
Planetbox - Today at 7:08 AM
She could probably see it out of like the corner of her eye yeah
I haven't read the whole thread but Abby's room was on the opposite side of the building from the pulley guys
Just throwing that out there
And yeah JM the intern broke the lightning rod but it was just a bit off the top to make it sharper
Lone thought it didn't make any sense for someone to get impaled on a normal lightning rod iirc
Nanjo - Today at 7:27 AM
@jm the scratch was in the doorway between hall and dining room sorry for saying corner when it's on the end of the wall (which has corners)
Panda - Today at 7:30 AM

Is it possible the scratch is just from the Ballroom Fridge being carried through from blimp storage and scratching a wall as it passes?
Planetbox - Today at 7:31 AM
I mean I guess it's technically possible

Panda - Today at 8:01 AM
On the building cross-section, where was the long cable on Jerry's wrist found dangling?
Planetbox - Today at 8:03 AM
on the left side of the skyscraper. it may not have been in the exact center though
Panda - Today at 8:03 AM
So to the right of the lightning rod?
Planetbox - Today at 8:06 AM
over here
Panda - Today at 8:07 AM
Ahh, right, right.

Jesterniter - Today at 3:25 PM
Do we know for sure if the door was locked from the inside?
Planetbox - Today at 3:29 PM
I should probably make a post about the doors. But if you have a room key (like Keri's) you can lock a door from either side and it will be impossible to open from both ends(edited)
JesusMonroe - Today at 9:17 PM
Can strangulation = asphyxiation?
Planetbox - Today at 9:18 PM
Yeah she could have been strangled until she asphyxiated
JesusMonroe - Today at 9:22 PM
Can the special events be linked too?
(If they're not important they don't need to be)
Jesterniter - Today at 9:23 PM
I'm confused about the fridge
The one in the ballroom, if covered in tablecloth, could be confused for a table?
Planetbox - Today at 9:24 PM
Let me see if I can find a good picture of the kinda fridge I'm talking about
And as far as I can remember none of the events are case-relevant
JesusMonroe - Today at 9:25 PM
I can't really tell from the map but is it reasonable to think just a push from the main building could impale Jerry far enough on the other one?
Planetbox - Today at 9:26 PM
No it probably wouldn't be far enough, especially cause he's kinda fat
Couldn't find a perfect example but the fridge in the ballroom is like this, but with sliding glass doors on top

Jesterniter - Today at 9:27 PM
I've never seen a fridge like that
JesusMonroe - Today at 9:28 PM
I have one
Well it's a freezer but yeah
Panda - Today at 9:28 PM
https://5.imimg.com/data5/GT/JB/MY-2544049...freezer-500x500.jpg basically?

Jesterniter - Today at 9:28 PM
Oh wait I do know those
Planetbox - Today at 9:33 PM
That's exactly it but not flat enough(edited)
Planetbox - Today at 10:05 PM
Also not sure if I can get this to the Q and A QT because I'm on mobile hopefully Nanjo can hint hint
