I'm reading the book Matched. This book has 366 pages and I'm on page 35.

Aberration: The word aberration is used to describe something from different than the norm. This makes sense in my book because Ky is defined as an aberration because he had came from the outer boundaries.

Circumlocution: This word means to speak to someone. This word has meaning in my book because Cassia needs to speak to the matchers to find out that she's actually not paired with Ky.

Promulgate: This word is used to describe the calling or announcing of something. When Cassia is called up to the stage, that's when this word is used. Many things are announced in the midst of this book

I am reading Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers. The book has 309 pages and I am on page 120.
One object my character could not live without is his M-16 rifle. He carries around his rifle in Nam to protect himself from the VC. The second thing he could not live without in Vietnam is roast beef and mashed potatoes. These two foods are served almost everyday and the whole camp is sick of it. The third and final thing Perry could not live without is his friends. His friends, mostly Peewee, Johnson, Lobel, and Monaco, keep him company and keep his spirits high while he suffers from PTSD.

I Just finished reading Crank by Ellen Hopkins. One thing that Bree cant live without, would be drugs. After her trip to her dads she is addicted to crank. She could also not live without Adam, she has fallen in love with him. When she goes back to her moms house it makes it even harder to stay away from drugs because she wants to be with Adam. At the beginning of the book she was this 'perfect' person, and she wanted to keep her image. I think she wouldn't be able to live without structure in her life, seeing how she changed from going to her dads house.

I just finished The Lost Fleet: Fearless by Jack Cambell. The book was 295 pages.
The three songs that would fit my book would be, "Titanium" by Sia, "Bulletproof" by La Roux and "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy. I picked "Titanium" because it speaks of strength and fortitude. Both things that are needed in their voyage home. I chose "Bulletproof" because of the strong hulls of the warships that are crewed and led in many daring battles. I also chose it in a small want for them to be safe and not to be hurt further. And finally, I chose "Centuries" because the song talks about being remembered for centuries and John was remembered for his last stand over a century. I also chose it because all that the Alliance Fleet is doing will indeed be remembered for centuries. Their loss and their triumph will echo down the annals of history for as long as the Alliance stands. (Figuratively of course, it's just a book series.)

The book I'm reading is While He Was Away there is 240 pages and I am on page 137.
Penelope would not be able to live with out someone living with her or being around. What I mean is that she needs some to entertain her or she would weary about David. The second thing she could not live with out is not being able to talk to David. That is because she loves him and misses him. The third thing she could not live with out is her radio. She would die with out a radio because she listens to her radio al the time and that is her alarm clock.

I am still reading Alice In Zombieland by Gena Showalter. It has 404 pages and I am on page 252.

The first word I came across in my reading that I was not familiar with was antagonism. I have found out that antagonism is active hostility or opposition. The second word that I came across in my reading was maim. I have found out that maim means to deprive the use of some body part. The third word I cam across was tier. I found out that tier is a level of a structure or a row of a structure.

I am reading Stay alive and it has 200 pages, today I stopped on page 58. Three things my character couldn't live without would be his light. He needs his light to see in the tunnel. He also would need his shovel to dig and help of rock. Also he needs his leather gloves. His gloves help him protect his hands and can't go without them.

I read Dark Places and i finished the book today..

The three things some of my characters in this book couldn't live without are: Diaondra couldn't live without Ben. When she thought that somehow she would lose him, she ends up killing someone. Michelle is bens little sister and she could live without her diaries. Michelle kept a diary on her at all times and whenever she saw someone act weird, she wrote it down, when she thought her mom was doing favorites, she wrote it down and just every single thing that went on, she wrote down. Last but not least. Patty couldn't live without her children. Michelle Libby, Debby, and Ben. She made sure no matter what her children were taken care of and they had food in their stomachs. This book really shows how messed up people could really be, but that family can also mean nothing to some people.

He follows every clue she has left behind. Without these clues he is detached from Margo. Without Margo he will always wander and worry about her. He needs tot find her to find closer. He must just follow the clues to get what he wants.

The book I am currently reading is "The Things They Carried". There's 246 pages and i am on page 54.

In my book, it talks about the things that soldiers carry during war. Some of the things they carry is their gear and other stuff is for good luck. One character is Norman Bowker who carries around a diary and a thumb from a Vietcong soldier. If the book had a sound track the songs would most likely be “The Unknown Soldier”, “Vietnam”, and “Us and Them”. Some new word i learned is humping which is military term for marching.

One thing my main character would not live without his studio job. He is going to his dream job then things go bad.Another thing my main character could not live with out is his survival skill. He has to act quick while he is trying to survive. One more thing my main character could not live with out is his fast thinking. While he is trying to survive he needs quick thinking.

I am currently reading Planet of The Apes by Mr. Whitman (Does not show a first name on the book.) I am currently on page 19 out of 160.

Topic 2:
For my first song I would chose "end of the world as we know it" by R.E.M, I chose this song because as of right now, Leo (Main Character) is on a spaceship thousands of miles away from earth and they are stuck in a electromagnetic storm. If the storm gets any worse, they could all die. Secondly, I would chose "Monkey gone to heaven" by Doolittle. I chose this song because the fate of the entire crew Leo is with is all up to the hands/paws of his little monkey friend, Pericles. If she fails, the entire crew can die. Finally, the last song I chose is "I can only imagine" by Bart Millard. I chose this song because there is a very high chance they they will go to heaven. The storm is about engulf the ship will result in the loss of everyones life.

I am still reading Rot and Ruin. I am on page 233 out of 467 pages.
Well since they live in a zombie apocalypse, Three things that I feel the main character can't live without would be his older brother Tom. Tom is trying to teach benny how to be a real life zombie killer. Benny wouldn't make it a day without Tom. Benny would also not be able to live without his weapon. His weapon helps him to survive after he loses his brother out in the rot and ruin. And finally, the last object that he wouldn't be able to live without was his bag. His bag contains a flare and a blanket that allows him to stay warm.

I am currently reading Fallen Angels. There are 309 pages in the book and I am currently on page 100.
My main character could not live without his gun. If he did not carry a gun he would be shot before he could shoot them. Another pbject he could not live without are his letters. It is in his letters that he writes back home. In these letters he finds comfort when writing to the ones he loved that he left back home. Finally he could not live without his other platoon members. Without each other watching each others back and being there for each other they would fall apart and never win the war.

I am reading How the West Was Won. I stopped on page 69 today.

1. If the main character (Linus Rawlings) had to pick three different things that he could not live without, it wouldn't be too hard. Linus is a drifter in the first place so he carries very little without him. The number one things that I believe he would need would be his canoe, he lives in this thing. Without it he couldn't move as freely. The second most important thing would be his rifle, without that, he would have been dead a long time ago, because of the native american population in this book. It is either eat or be eaten. The third would be his furs. Without his furs he would have nothing to trade with, to get the essentials and some money for a break from the ruthless back country.
