Oh and I'm not using the graveyard this time, but they can read the judges chat if they want to.

The judges are living players, not dead ones, right? I don't think the Graveyard would matter.

This idea sounds great, Lindsay. I like the extra layer of paranoia.Would the judges have their own QT? Or be blind like April suggests?

Build in a failsafe in case the Graveyard just isn't participatory (that's been a problem in Graveyard-reliant games I've had in the past).

You could have the judges be blind to one another

The reason I'm considering letting the judges pick is because it might lead to more paranoia. Also might help the wolves a bit. The risk is that if one wolf is a judge they might just kill the other judges until they have a majority.

This sounds super cool! I'm guessing being a Judge would make you ineligible to receive advantages? What if you RNG'd new Judges for each night so then everyone would get a chance?

I'm planning my next game and the gist is that it's a food network game with a secret group of judges who will decide who wins every night, and therefore gets an advantage. The judges will initially be chosen by RNG, but if someone dies the judges will choose their replacement. This means some of the judges may be wolves.

The rewards will be secret but they'll generally be useful to town or scum.

I'm thinking of also adding an investigator and a jailer but I'm wondering if that's too much for wolves to deal with. I'm also wondering if I want a sk or not because some rewards will be extra kills.

Thoughts? It's going to be decently big, 20-22 people. Either 5 wolves or 4 and an sk.

Jailer and medic serve different purposes... Personally I think a jailer is important to have if there's a SK on the game.

I can add a jailer out of The vanilla town if you think it's best. I may add an extra wolf though to maintain equilibrium

So that's roughly 23% scum, with Town having a 2-for-1 kill pair? I think that's balanced! Usually scum is more like 25% - 30%, so I think you could add a Wolf or a second SK if you want, but I don't think you have to.

If anyone disagrees, though, go with whatever they say. I'm not great at balancing! My games generally work out on a wing and a prayer.
