"Precisely! A true warrior, one who fights for chivalry and peace, unlike the wretched fiend Belphegor. Did you know I once offered him to come and join me and the lads for some cheeky banter? Naturally, he turned it down, and we've been enemies ever since..." the Duke said with a pained expression. "The absolute tomfoolery of that scoundrel..."

"Well Kliff? Now that you've heard his backstory, are you gonna take his test?" Brandy asked the doctor.

"Even if I did know how to preform that, I wouldn't do it." Klifford replied. He chuckled when Brandy threatened to throw books at the Duke.

"A test? As in to become a warrior for you? I'm not much of a fighter..."

"Well," the Duke huffed. "I only ask because this woman, if you can even call her that, is acting hysterical! I was going to request you perform a hysterectomy on her, but it seems you are unable to do so."

"You know, if you keep that attitude up, I'm gonna go back to throwin' books on you, buddy," Brandy said, sounding irritated.

"Very well, banshee. I shall get to the point of my sudden appearance. I am seeking valiant warriors to fight at my side! However, I do not accept women into my ranks. Too risky. Now! Doctor, are you ready to take the test?"

"She has a point." Klifford said, agreeing with Brandy.

"I'm a pediatrician." He said, turning to face the Duke once again. "Why do you ask?"

“Belphegor? Oh, that’s a right cheeky bugger, he is,” the Duke said. “No, I am not that walking twat’s friend — far from it. In fact, we are mortal enemies.”

Brandy chuckled. “I’m sorry, but it’s hard to take you seriously with them baby arms.”

“How—how dare you!” shouted the Duke. He looked to Klifford. “You there, my good man, you wouldn’t happen to be a medical professional, would you?”

"A talking bird with baby arms..." Klifford said, stating the obvious. "With everything we've seen this shouldn't be a surprise, yet it still is." Finally arriving next to Brandy and the Duke, Klifford cleans his glasses to get a better look at the creature. "Are you a friend of Belphegor or something?"

"Kliff... what the fuck am I seein' here...?" Brandy asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice. The bird twitched as Klifford and Brandy got closer.

"Hold your stinkin' horses, lads!" It shouted in a cockney accent. From seemingly nowhere, it pulled out a monocle and top hat, both of which were place on its head using its, gross, weird baby arms. "Don't you DARE touch me, for I am Sir Archibald Culver the Third, Duke of Beef Wellington, master of the finer things in this cursed life of mine. I demand respect from you ruffians. Throwing books on me... unbelievable! I could buy and sell both of you, right now!"

Brandy stood there, mouth agape. She looked at Klifford for some kind of sign that she wasn't the only one tripping balls in that moment.

Klifford blinked. “Uh... You’re seeing this too, right?” He asked Brandy, as he slowly walked towards the two of them.

"No, Kliff, I'm serious," she insisted. "I swear I heard a stuffy n' pompous Brit's voice jus' now... n' I know neither Oliver nor Benjamin're 'round here..."

She cautiously approached the pile of books, carefully removing one at a time until she revealed the source of the sound.

It was a bird. Not just any bird, however, for this small creature had what could essentially be described as the arms of a small child in place of its wings. It cocked its head to the side, observing both Brandy and Klifford.

"A voice?" Klifford asks, raising an eyebrow. "Are you alright, Brandy? Did you pay a visit to the wine cellar earlier or something...?"

"I think... it came from the pile o' books right over here," Brandy said, taking a small step back from the books on the floor. "Am I crazy or did it sound like a voice?"

"Yeah, I did." Klifford replied, turning around to face Brandy. "What was that?"

Brandy looked up to give him a quick "Hey" and the returned to perusing the books, quickly adding to the pile that had been building up on the floor next to her.

That is, until she closed the book she was reading, making a loud "clack" sound. She looked over at Klifford, startled. "Kliff, did you hear that?"

A tired Klifford enters the library and spots Brandy reading. He looks at her for a moment, debating whether or not to say something. "Um... Hello, Brandy." He said, somewhat quietly. "Don't mind me. I'll be quiet, just looking for something to read." After he finishes speaking, he begins combing the shelves looking for a book.

Brandy was in the library, minding her own business. She was idly flipping through the many pages of Murder on the Orient Express, as well as other books, looking for any hidden clues about Enola. It's a library, so why not.
