I am reading The Highway by CJ Box. I stopped on page 325 of 335.

1. http://www.mappery.com/Helena-Montana-City-Map - This is a map of Helena, Montana. The reason I chose this is because most of the story takes place in Helena and the surrounding areas. This is where Danielle and Gracie are taken after they get kidnapped, and they are held here up until they are rescued. Cody and Cassie come here to try and find Danielle and Gracie, and this is where Cody dies.

2. http://fleetowner.com/driver-management-re...-serial-killers-fbi - This is an article about truckers being serial killers. It talks about why it is ideal for truckers to be murderers and how it's easy for them. I chose this link because one of the main characters in the book, Mr. Pergman, is a long-haul trucker. He is also a serial killer and rapist. It's really easy for him because his truck is large and he can put bodies in it without it being suspicious. It is also very easy for him to get victims since he's on the road all the time and can take women from truck stops or broken down cars without being a suspect because he is not a local.

3. http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/how-o...-one-knows-for-sure - This is an article about cops planting evidence to frame other people. The reason I chose this article is because at the beginning of the book, officer Cody Hoyt is caught by him partner for planting evidence at a murder scene. His partner, Cassie, had to report this to the chief sheriff, and Cody got really angry with her for doing this.

I'm reading Beyonders: Seed of Rebellion. It has 483 pages, and today I stopped at page 192.

1. http://www.rickgeary.com/images/greetings_from_earth.jpg - This is for Jason and Rachel, because they're both in Lyrian, a world very different from Earth. There's not really any way to contact those in Lyrian besides going through a portal inside of a hippopotamus, so the card would make sense. The card is also kind of funny, since the world of Lyrian is a long ways behind greeting cards.

2. http://www.wikihow.com/Throw-a-Hand-Grenade - This is related to the book, because in the book there is this mineral called orantium. Orantium can be thrown like a grenade, and when it hits something with force, it blows up. Jason probably could have used this wikihow.

3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodbye_Horses - In a recent chapter, Jason and his company were forced to attack their pursuers. The attackers were riding horses, and Jason's friend Aram had to kill a few to get rid of the attackers. There were some left alive, but Jason and his friends just let them be.

I am currently reading The Heart and The Fist it has 320 pages in it and I am currently on page 236.
http://www.sealswcc.com I picked this link because in the book "Mr. G" or Eric Greitens has to go through the Navy Seals training course. This website gives you a run down of what the Navy Seals do: training, gear, and guides. This book deals with Navy Seals and what they go through for training and this website explains all of the drills an camps they endure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniforms_of_the_United_States_Navy The next link I listed is a website that talks about Navy Seal uniforms. The reason i listed this url is because In the book I am reading the main characters are in the United States Navy and are Seals. They were this outfit during some operation of the book sometimes during training and others during combat.
http://www.scoutsongs.com/lyrics/hokeypokey.html The third and final link is to a website with the lyrics Hokey Pokey. During the Navy Seal training one of the instructors stared to sing the Hokey Pokey. Then the drill instructor made all of the privates sing it along with them.

I am reading feed
-http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/elenasiegman/115.html - the reason I choose this song is because it is about the constant survival of Zombies. It tells about the endless waves of zombies and how everyone is dying.
-http://www.sportsmansguide.com/department/guns?d=185 - the reason I choose this site is because you need good weapons during the Zombie appocolyps. And the only way to kill a zombie is to get a good gun and kill the thing with it.
-https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems-and.../poems/detail/58110 - I choose this because it shows the hatred of zombies. And it's in poetry form and it talks about killing zombies.

I just finished the book up in flames, it was 380 pages long and really horrible. Now I am reading My Life with the Walter Boys, and it is 355 pages long. I just started it and read to page 59.

This is a how to link on how to write card of sympathy since the main characters family all died leading to her staying with the Walters.

These are things you could say to someone grieving that the boys just don't seem to say to her.

I think the poems about chaos really relate to the chaos in the story. With 12 boys in one household there will always be chaos.

I am reading Forget Me and I am on page 158 of 276 pages

I picked this because Its about abandoned amusement parks. In my book there is an amusement park that has been long forgotten. A big park of the mystery of this book lurks on the abandoned rides.

I picked the song Doubt because a character that dies leaves a note saying that he wants to be forgotten. Meagan the main character can't. The more she discovered about her "diseased' ex-boyfriend the more questions she has. Why does he want to be forgotten? What has he done in his life that makes him want to be completely forgotten?

I picked a foster care website because one of the characters that "dies" ran away from a foster care place in New Hampshire. I wonder why he left, was there a particular reason? And I want to know how to escaped and survived for so long on his own.

I the 222 pages of the book soul surfer by Bethany Hamittion.https://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/isaf/shark-...ld-highest-attacks/ I had you look at this site because it is about shark attacks. I the book Bethany is attacked by a shark and lives to tell the tale. This site also talks about how Hawiia is a location with a lot of short attack. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-38...ck-Kings-Beach.html I did this site because it tells about the growing number of attacks. I the book Bethany say that most surfers don't ever seen a shark. This would be less true now with the growing number of attacks.http://www.smithsonianmag.com/ist/?next=/h...-for-jaws-15220260/ I picked this site because it talks about one of the most well known fictional shark attacks ever. I the story Bethany talks about jaws. She says that that story is not to reliable and sharks don't show there fin above the water.

I finished the summer I turned pretty by Jenny Han last weekend, and I am currently reading All the right places by Jennifer Niven it has 378 pages and I stopped on page 43.

My first link is about Finch listening to the 80s band Split Enz http://lsp.westcentral.k12.sd.us/access?4F...JT1687FBMAHNYLNZ69A . Hoosier Hill Finch wants to take a field trip there before everyone graduates https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoosier_Hill. This book started off with a suicide attempt from both Finch and Violet they are going through lot and they are just misunderstood and have been through a lot. I found a poem about someone wanting to take there life away http://www.poemhunter.com/poems/suicide/page-1/110172/#content.

I am reading Branded by the Pink triangle by Ken Setterington, and I'm on page 30 of 122 pages.
http://www.thehypertexts.com/Famous%20Holocaust%20Poems.htm - I chose this website because it tells about how they took people in the holocaust. It tells about the people they took. The poems are about people who survived the holocaust. http://www.aef.com/industry/news/data/2002/2083 - This website is about the groups the nazis didn't like. These people were a disgrace to them just like the jews were. These tell what each one was.
https://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005378 - This shows the people and explains what is happening. It shows some of the people and the triangles. It tells about the yellow star and pink triangle.

Im currently reading both Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan, I finished books three and four, Im reading the fifth right now. Im also trying to finish Harry potter and the half blood prince. No page numbers in the Cirque Du freak books.
In that link Is a poem that reminds me of the books I read today. This poem is about vampires. This poem is about a vampire's bride.
In that wiki how is how to kill and identify a vampire. I chose this because most of the vampires in these books are vampire. And who doesn't need to know how to kill a vampire.
In that song it talks about vampires. Its related to my book since there both about vampires.

I am currently reading shredder by Niall Leonard. There are 373 pages and I am on page 128.
www.expertboxing.com/boxing-basics/how-to-box/the-beginners-guide-to-boxing I did his link because in this whole series, Finn has been an avid boxer. He has to use his skills to get him out of thought situations. All in the last book he had a boxing gym opened up.
http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/adversity-then-strength/ This poem really demonstrates the themes of this series very well. Finn is always being pu tinto tough situations and he uses witt and skill to overcome it. Like when his father is murdered in the first book.
http://www.hallmark.com/cards/greeting-car...ard-349ZZB1542.html This link I used because this card takes Finn back to a time when things were simpler. When his dad and he could just sit around the kitchen table and drink tea. Quite sad how his father is murdered.

I am currently reading Dead In The Water by Chris Lynch. This book has 188 pages and I finished this book today.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Yorktown_(… The reason I had you look at this link is because the USS Yorktown is mentioned a lot in this book. The USS Yorktown is the ship that our main character Hank is on in the book. Along with this the ship played a big role in history so I thought it would be something good to look at.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/28/world/restor...e-flies-over-japan/ The reason I chose this link is because this is the plane that attacked the USS Yorktown. While on the USS Yorktown Hank is in charge of getting the planes and pilots ready for battle. While he was doing this in chapter nine a Zero plane dropped a bomb on a plane that Hank just finished working on about 15 minutes before.
http://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/battle-of-midway The reason I chose this link is because during the battle of midway Hanks ship is capsized by torpedoes and he is forced to ban out or the ship. This is a great ink because it really brings in perspective the cost of war and what it took to capture the island. I like how this link tells you about the history of the island and what it did during the war.

I am reading the Fall of Five by Pittacus Lore I am on page 177 out of 355.
https://play.google.com/music/preview/Tm7i...ampaignid=kp-lyrics This song reminds me of my book because they are pretty much preparing for what could be the apocalypse. Also, the the way the song sounds like the genre reminds me of Nine, I can picture Nine listening to this song. Also, the lyrics 'We're painted red to fit right in' makes me think of how the Loric were put on Earth.
https://www.csu.edu/locator/ Nine's penthouse is in Chicago so a lot of the story takes place there. I think the time spent there is really important because it gives them time to train and to heal. They have a lot of time to bond and to reflect on what has happened to them, and that is really good for them.
http://www.hallmark.com/cards/greeting-car...bloom-499S1777.html I think this card could be sent to Ella. She is having a really hard time dealing with loss. They continuously tell her to not lose hope so this card would be very appropriate.

Start with a sentence that names current book, total # of pages, and page # where you stopped.

In this post, you are going to provide me with THREE (3) LINKS to things you find online related to your book. Copy the link, then in THREE (3) sentences for each link explain why you had me look at that link. The links should NOT mention the title of your book or have anything to do with the book itself, so don’t Google the book title. Do NOT just send me links to

3 pictures! We already recently did an assignment where you found photos. Instead, for

example, you might send me a link to:

A. Song lyrics of a song that reminds you of this book.
B. A Letter to the Editor that touches on the same subject(s) your book discusses
C. A poem that addresses a theme from your book
D. A Greeting Card (there are millions online) that would be appropriate to send to one of the characters in the book you are currently reading
E. A “How To” Link—for example, I am reading Plainswoman, a story set on the Plains in the 1880s. The woman has to milk her own cows. I would include a link like this: http://www.wikihow.com/Milk-a-Cow

F. A Map that has significance to your book
G. A retail website with a link to specific item(s) that has significance in your book
H. An advertisement for a product that has significance in your book
I. A collage you found online that addresses key IDEAS from your book (but if you are reading Harry Potter, for example, don’t go find a collage of Harry Potter characters)
