I finished the 438 pages when you were gone. The main character has many challenges. These are split into three groups. The first group is the biggest challenge and the main part of the book. Emily goes to her best friend's home, and there is no one there. She is gone and all that is left is another one of her sill lists. The points on the list are the Second challenge. Emily has to do everything on the list even ride a horse which is one of her fears, and kiss a stranger. She starts with the easy one, go to the orchard a party spot in there town. There is one problem she is shy and alone she has to over come her shyness to make friends. Then there is the last challenge. Emily now likes Frank, but he has a girl friend.

I am reading Nazi Hunters, it has 256 pages in it and I am on page 85. The first challenge the main character faces is, well tat he is the most wanted Nazi in the world. He was in charge of exterminating the jews during the second war. Right now he is on the run from the Russians, Americans and French that want him to face his crimes against humanity. The second problem he faces it that he has no money, no identity papers and no place to stay. During the book he mentions how he wished he would've taken the rides from jewish citizens and save the money for after the war. While he's on the run he stays at different houses and travels all across the globe to escape his pursuers. To escape the men attempting to track him he leaves the country. Then is later chased all over the world by spies and government figures wanting to capture him.

He also faces another problem, his mother as been hiding Jews in the attic and if they get caught, they will be called traitors and be shot. So they must hide them and must not tell anyone about their secret. My main character is also heading to the front to fight of the Russians (USSR). Most Germans in WWII died while fighting the Russians. Im reading Its not summer without you by Jenny Han theres 275 pages and I'm on page 181. Belly the main character is facing quite a few troubles not this book, Susannah died and she facing the loss and has lots of denials and flashbacks of her. Conrad Susannah's son Belly really likes him but he is going through a lot with the loss of his mother, the abandonment of his father, college on top of that and him and his brother Jeremiah always fight over everything it seems like. But she hides her feelings because she has a soft spot for Jeremiah too thieve been friends since they were babies, well same with Conrad but she has liked him since she was eight years old. Also her friend Taylor back at home pressures her and doesn't let her have a word in anything, this guy name Cory really likes Belly but she doesn't and taylor keeps telling him to go for her but belly tells her no and it's just a big mess. Another problem is since Susannah dies the summer house is not going to be the same, and her ex husband is trying to sell it for the money and Conrad really dislikes his dad brother at this point because Jeremiah is just trying to be on his dads good side, but Conrad sees his father for who he really is.

I am reading Meet Me at the River and I am on page 129 of 376.
In my book the main character Teressa faces many problems, one of the biggest ones it suicide. She doesn't know how to cope with the loss of her boyfriend Luke and was hospitalized after cutting her wrists. She has overcome her suicidal tendencies, but still faces life with a negative outlook. Another problem she is dealing with is depression, she recently lost her only pet Carlos the dog and feels guilty that she let him suffer instead of just putting him down. She's trying to overcome these things by being with her mother and being with her friend. The final problem she faces is insanity. Almost every night Luke visits her. She hasn't tried to solve this problem but her family is getting concerned about her recent behavior. They don't know that she is seeing Luke or her dog Carlos. I suspect that her mother is going to find out and force her to get some help.

I finished the book The Midas Flesh: Vol 1.

So far, the we have learned that our main 3 characters are unofficial space pirates, who went out into space to locate a version of Earth where King Midas' curse was real. The whole world is made of gold, and they found the actual King Midas completely untouched for thousands of years. They lazered his finger off without touching it, and tested it on a piece of paper. The finger turned the paper gold, and the 3 protagonists found what they needed. They used the finger as a weapon of defense against a bad-guy-space-group. The book ended with the group blowing up a huge battleship, and deciding on where to flee.

I am currently reading Zero Night By: Mark Felton. This book has 254 pages and I am currently on page 147. My book is about one of the biggest escapes from a Nazi prison camp during WWII. Throughout this book the characters are all faced with trying situations. The first situation came when almost all of the tunnels that were dug to escape were found. To solve this the prisoners came up with the idea of climbing over the fence with ladders that they build. But this too also causes a huge problem. It took a crazy and ridiculous amount of wood and nails to build the ladders. To solve this the prisoners secretly deconstructed the old mess hall for wood and nails and buried the supplies in the vegetable garden. But the third and by far the hardest optical that had to over come was building and storing the ladders without getting caught. To do this they made the ladders look like shelfs that they used to put sheet music on in the musical practice room.

I am reading Faceless, it has 341 pages and I stopped on page 179.

May goes on a run in the beginning of the story and a tree near her is struck with lightning. The tree falls onto a power line and the power line breaks, then it falls and the electric wires hit her and she starts on fire. Her face is severely damaged and the fire was so hot it was blue.

She goes into a medically induced coma and they preform surgery to remove the charred bone and tissue. She wakes up in the hospital and only parts of her face are remaining.

She thinks she is a monster and decides to get a face transplant. The transplant goes great but everything changes for the girl wearing a dead girls face. She is made fun of, unloved, no one but her best friend treats her the same.

She goes off her medication in a state of hysteria. She blames the pills for the way people laugh and make fun of her, for the way her grades have started slipping, for the way her boyfriend doesn't love her anymore. She convinces herself if she stops taking the pills everything will get better. The pills keep her body from rejecting the alien tissue (her new face)

I am currently reading out of his league, it has 270 pages,I am currently on page 56
I am just starting this book so its hard to know which events are major. I'll start with when he takes his girlfriend to the dance. He takes her to the dance in a horse drawn wagon. Then at the dance. Him and hs mates go off drinking. The drinking age must be lower in Australia? After that it cuts to their next rugby match. They are playing the number one team in the league and are down a score. Ozzie "scores" but the refs don't count it. One problem Ozzie has faced so far is the confrontation he had with his tater in the boys bathroom when they were drinking at thee school dance. Another problem Ozzie has is that he doesn't know whether to break up with his girlfriend before he moves to America. And lastly, he is afraid of flying so he is antsy on the plane.

I am reading Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard and I'm on page 115 of 440.

The first problem Mare has encountered is the lost of hope. She thought all was lost and she thought everyone that died did it in vain. The second challenge she faced was betrayal. Maven a man she thought she loved betrayed her and called for her execution. Another challenge Mare has to face is that she no longer has the ability to trust. She doesn't even trust her favorite brother or her best friend. She is afraid that they will only betray her.

Today I finished reading Because of Low, which was 290 pages. One problem that the main character in my book faced was falling in love with his roommate's best friend, Low. He overcame this by having a conversation with his roommate and settling it so that he was able to be with her. The second problem he faced was finding out that his father was cheating on his mother. He worked through this by talking to his dad and letting him know that he basically wanted nothing to do with him because of the way that he hurt his mother. The last problem he faced was when he found out that his father's mistress was actually Low's sister. He assumed Low knew about this the whole time, but she really didn't know about it at all. They didn't talk for about three months, but then finally ended up back together in the end.

I finished Im Not Here by Janet Gurtler today and I started The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas by John Boyne. I am currently on page 21 out of the 216 pages.

One challenge that the main character is going through right now is moving. He has to move because he is a Jew. Another problem that he has to face is leaving his friends behind. Moving causes him to leave his friends behind. And the last problem that he is experiencing is changing houses. Its a big deal to him because he used to live in a big house in town by a lot of people. Now, he has to live in a small house outside of the city, so his family can hide.

One problem my character has faced is trying to figure out why they're leaving their house. Whenever he asks his mom, his mom always says go help Maria pack. The second problem my character is facing is when they get to their new house in Berlin his mom doesn't tell him anything. She told him that they're only spending a night here but when he asks why she makes him go help Maria unpack. The third problem is he doesn't know what's going on. His mom keeps lying to him and making him do things when he wants to know what's going on.
