I am currently reading The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. My kindle doesn't give page numbers but I am on chapter 9. I finished the Percy Jackson series over christmas break.
Now that 've finished the Percy Jackson Series, I've moved on to the Kane Chronicles about and Egypt.
Egyptian gods are very confusing at times because of the hieroglyphs and what not.
When Carter and Sadie find out that they are direct bloodlines of a pharaoh things get very interesting.

You might be wondering why I'm so interested in this, its books all of the books are connected somehow, but i have yet to figure that out.
Even though theres a whole other series to read I'm very excited to see what the books ave to hold
As I read this book, I learn a lot about ancient Egypt and how the people were very frightful of the gods.
Redirecting is Amos specialty in this book, once you think he is about to explain something, he completely changes course and starts doing something else.

R - Rocco
Uncle Rocco is not really Lily's uncle. He's really her grandpas brother who lives very far away from New York. Where I am currently at in the story she's taking a ferry to meet him in order to try to cheer herself up by being around his mean and negative personality.

I am reading Just for Now by Abbi Glines, and today I stopped on page 25 of 307. I finished Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins today, and over break I finished Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. Since I am not far enough into my new book to write about it, I'm going to do my post on Mockingjay instead.

NEW beginnings are shown at the end of the book as Katniss and Peeta start their family.
ENDING the Capitol's power is very important because the people of the districts do not want to live the way they are anymore.
WAR is very prevalent in Mockingjay, and Katniss has to act as the voice for the rebels as they try to fight the power away from the Capitol.

YEARNING for freedom is something that all rebels do as they are fighting throughout the book.
ENDING President Coin's life is a choice that Katniss made at the very last minute because she saw through her ruse.
ANGER is what Katniss feels toward pretty much everyone near the end of the book because many of the people she loves are dead.
RULES are to be followed very strictly in District 13 where the refugees of 12 are taken.
