fair/foul argument

Yes the Ball was foul. A couple of issues. First the umpire should have been set when he made the call rather than moving. Granted he had the line but he needed to be set. Second with 6 darn umpires on the field why did his crew let two coaches go after the umpire that made the call. Had one of them come up to assist this might have not gotten so ugly.. Regardless the shove will earn you a shower...

The call, as it relates to the ejection is IRRELEVANT! You can never let anyone disrespect you or physically touch you. No excuse for it.

Judgement all day. We have to get set our eyes aren’t bouncing...notice how the argument got real intense...it got real intense when some personal things were said to the coach...we need to be careful what we say

The call is all judgement, yes we can give our opinion as a fan, but we should be talking mechanics here, So... my view was, the umpire started a little to far inside the line, but ended up on it, (not sure of starting positions in six man) and on the line is a good thing, but he was still moving on the play and not locked into a standing set, ie eyes moving, out of focus. Then handling coaches at that level is a whole other ball game, we don't talk to base coaches, but it did looked like the umpire gave a little push first, so the coach should be off the hook for the second push...

Might our fearless leader have permission to share Cookie’s side of the story with us or was the dinner off the record?

It looked foul from that last view & I didn't see any chalk in the air. Ump had a good view & I don't know how Rojas could see that thru both umps that were on the line. Something was said that set Rojas off to shove the ump.

Didn't see any chalk in the air. Also, from the last view - foul ball. Shoving the umpire - ejection, large fine and suspension for some games (without pay).

The announcer was right...the debate was heated!

Wow, you normally don't see a coach/manager get that upset unless it's OBVIOUSLY a blown call. It might have nicked the line at best, (makes you appreciate HD), but I thought it looked foul. And looking at it again, in the last view, the ump looks to be on the line so I wonder how Cookie could have even seen it to argue that vehemently. Unless, as the announcer kept trying to imply, it was something the ump said that lit Cookie's fuse?
