The school I visited with and talked to most were SDSU and Lake Area Tech
I am considering Lake Area Tech mainly because of there diesel program. I do like SDSU's campus and school but they do not offer the programs I am looking for.
I learned that there are also scholarships available once you are already in college.
Now it would be beneficial for me to visit Lake Areas campus and see how I like the school and campus.

a. What schoolS did you visit?
b. What is a school or military branch you are considering?
c. What is something you learned that you DIDN'T know by attending?
d. What do you need to do NOW? (job shadow? campus visit? volunteer?)
I visited with the people from Lake Area Tech from Watertown. I also visited with people from Lincoln Tech which is located in Colorado and Indiana. Something I learned is if a person plans to be a diesel mechanic, attending Lincoln Tech in Colorado would be the place instead of Indiana. I am still considering Lake Area Tech. I think I should take a visit to STI as they are expanding their Diesel Technology program.

While at the college fair, I visited my top 3 schools: SD School of Mines and Technology, Wayne State, and DSU. I am considering going to DSU because of their computer security program there. I talked with a couple college reps about what school would be best for computer security, even SD school of Mines said DSU has the better program. I think I have to job shadow a computer security worker and do a campus visit at DSU. I already have a week security program this summer they will show me around DSU and ill be staying in the dorms for a week so I will have an general idea if I will like it.

a. What schoolS did you visit? The experience that I enjoyed the most was at our state school. South Dakota State University. I have a lot of interests in the school and the programs. I visited with the academic counselor and discussed what my interests were and he showed me everything about junior days and a way I can earn some scholarships by giving me a packet of many sorts of ideas on what I would like to do.
b. I am considering SDSU to major in Animal Science. The counselor made it really interesting and he gave me the values of the outcomes by becoming a Animal Science major. I think this could fit my abilities. The understanding I had from it all made me feel comfortable about my decision. In the end he helped me pick the right path I want to be on.
c. Somethings that I learned was the process of earning a scholarship, the finances there are for the process of college and the outcomes of earning a job after graduation. This has been more information that has been given.
d. I believe I should do a full campus visit. Its not that far, yet it is a dream of mine to move onto my dream college. I think by going to junior days would help me develop my interests even more. SDSU is the one college I enjoy. I would also like to stay in state to be close to family, if SDSU isn't for me, I would switch to a tech school.

While at the College Fair, I didn't visit any of the schools, but I talked to all of the military branches that were present, as well as getting information from all branches about joining and careers. The top two branches that I am considering would be the Army and the Marines, but the Navy and the Air Force are definitely still on the table. While I was talking to the recruiters at the college fair, I learned about the Army's 14 Month Senior Program, which would allow me to join the Army as a Junior, and attend basic training as a senior, then I can get deployed as soon as I graduate high school. I also learned about a career in the Army that would allow me to be a gunsmith for the Army, as well as a welder and machinist, which are both other careers I was thinking of pursuing as well.

I am considering going into the education field. I would like to get my k-12 degree for special education. I visited DSU and USD at the collage fair. I had already visited DSU's campus in October, and decided that I really wanted to go to school there. I didn't know until late March that USD had a really good Special education program. Even though they have a good program, I like DSU's location and I like the how close the classes are. In late spring or sometime this summer I'm going back to DSU's campus for their "Education career days". I really hope I get in!

1. I am considering going to USD or SDSU. Now after the collage fair I am also considering Northern.

2. A. I visited USD, Northern, SDSU, and Southwest Minnesota. I learned that Southwest does not have much to offer me, and I won't go there. I want to go to either SDSU or USD for nursing. I am now also considering Northern. When I visited with the northern booth, they informed me that I could take the SDSU nursing program through northern, if I liked a smaller collage. I have already visited USD, and now all I need to do is set up a visit for both SDSU and Northern.

I visited LATI, SDSU, MTI, U.S. Air Force, WDT, Lincoln Tech, and Midwestern Mechanical.I was considering SDSU when I walked in there, but the guy at WDT told me it is a better choice for me to go to a technical institute for agricultural programs. I also considered Lake Area Tech, and the U.S. Air Force. I learned what degrees I can get from Lake Area Tech. I would like to do a job shadow with a person in farm management. I would also like to visit Lake Area Tech.

I visited not very many schools. I visited SDSU, USD, Iowa State, and STI. I have been considering SDSU for a long time, but USD has came to my mind a lot. Unfortunately, USD doesn't have my major. So I just decided SDSU. Lately I have been thinking a lot about going to a tech school because its way cheaper. I didn't know all the opportunities there are for helping you pay for college. I need to schedule a campus visit to SDSU and decide if I want to go to SDSU or STI.

I visited several schools including, Lake Area Tech, SDSU, and Iowa State University. I am considering attending both SDSU and Iowa State University. I learned many things about these schools from their representatives. I learned that Iowa State must accept a certain number of SDSU graduates from their pre-vet option and offer them in state tuition. Now I think the best thing for me to do is to take a tour of both the SDSU and Iowa State campus.

Some of the schools I visited with were SMSU, Wayne State, BHSU, NDSU, and a few more. Right now I am considering going to Wayne State or SMSU. I learned that a lot of schools have actually started from the major teacher. As I have already visited with SMSU on campus and off campus. My next step is to go visit Wayne State for a campus visit to see if I would like the campus. Also, meet with a professor there in the education field to see if I like it as much as SMSU.

Some of the schools I visited were Lake area Tech, SDSU, and University of Nebraska Lincoln. A school or military branch i am considering is SDSU, and UNL. I didn't really learn anything except that UNL is the number 1 school in the midwest for architecture. Don't really need to do anything now but wait and see what happens.

I visited USD while I was at the college fair. I also visited SDSU. I am interested in going to USD for the medical program. I did not know that USD was the best medical program in the state, also you can visit USD during he summer if you wanted to. All i need to do now is visit USD and see if I like the size of the school.
