I started the book 'Relentless Optimism' by Darrin Donnelly. I'm on page 38 of 244.
B. I would give Bobby Kane some extra money so he can support his family. Bobby Kane is a 31 year old minor league baseball player that has had a series of bad breaks. He married his high school sweet heart. They get married when he gets called up to the majors in his twenty's but then he breaks his wrist the first we he plays in the majors and get sent back down to the minors. He is struggling with money and is losing his belief that baseball is still his path, so I would give him extra money to help him provide for his family until he can.

1. On Tuesday, I finished 'The Fault in Our Stars' and today (February 28) I started 'Famous Last Words' by Katie Alender. The book is 312 pages and today I stopped at page 7. Several of you went to the library on Friday.

B. Well, I've read this book before. I don't remember much about it because it was a few years ago but I've read it like five times. I remember Willa having some sort of connection to ghosts. other than that, I don't remember much about her character. So maybe a spooky birthday? Like in October or something.

I just started the book From You to Me. I stopped on page 6 out of 196. I also just finished the book Sold which had 263 pages.
A. Choose a food that represents your current book and explain why.
Im going to write about the book Sold because I haven't read enough of my new book to say anything about it. I think the food that best represents this book would be sweet cakes. These come up often in the story. They are a cultural food so we don't eat them here on the regular but they are the sweetest treats that most people can afford in Nepal and India. In the book Lakshmi, the main character only got them on special occasions. They were to celebrate stuff or when they had a little extra money.

This weekend I finished The Hate Give with 444 pages. I am now reading Sold and am on page 125 of 263.
B. I would get Lakshmi a bunch of things for her birthday. She is from such a poor family and has nothing. I would get her a bunch of little things like treats. I would even give her some money so she could help her family or treat herself. I also would probably get her a nice journal she can use to write stories and clear her head. I know she would be tremendously grateful for anything at all.

today I finished reading the fear and I am now reading five nights at freddy's the fourth closet pg 22 of 348

yes, this book has helped me think and wonder about what is going on. the mystery in this book does not stop after the first book no it only leaves you with more questions then answers. You have to read all three books to get any where even so you still have questions. And the characters make it seem so real and not fake like you are there I was in tears after I read the first book. In general this book just makes you think, wander and worry about every thing.

I am currently reading "If You're Reading This" by Trent Reedy. I stopped on page 68 of 296.

I would chose Cal because he really love potatoes because he lives in Idaho. I also would pick this item because in the middle of the book they go to a restaurant called Baked which is pretty much just like a normal restaurant but its not. I would also give everyone else a potato as a present because after they get done with all of there football games they all sit on the grass and eat a snake and that one day I would bring them all a nice baked potato.

I am reading All The Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood and I am on page 192 of 406.

The character I am choosing to talk about is the main character, Wavy. At this point in the book, Wavy is thirteen and is still completely obsessed with stars. If I could give her something for her birthday I think I would give her a book about all the constellations because I know that she likes to read as well. Wavy uses the star as a way to escape her bad home life and I know how much stars mean to her. This wouldn't fix any of her family problems, but I know this would mean a lot to her.

I finished reading Breathing Underwater yesterday. I am currently reading Alive. I stopped on page 47 of 357.

Since I'm not very far in my new book, I'm going to write this post about my previous book.

B. The main character in my old book was Nick. Nick had a rough life, and was often abused by his father. Because of this, he started to abuse his girlfriend, and ended up going to court for it. I believe a good birthday present for him would be a train ticket to anywhere. I chose this because in the book he talked about how he wished he could move as far away from his dad as possible. With this train ticket, Nick would be able to travel anywhere he wants and could possibly live there. By giving Nick this train ticket, I would hope it would help him recover from his traumatic life.

I am reading the book "Zero Day" by Jan Gangsei. I am on page 247 of 359.

Has reading your current book helped you in any way? Explain.

Reading my current book has made me think about life and how much different it would be if I was in a notorious kidnapping like the main character, Addie Webster. Addie vanished and her parents were forced to move on. When a national security advisor approaches and says she is a threat to the United States. I wouldn't know what to do if I was in that certain situation right then and there. She had a quiet, burning intelligence personality. In this whole situation, if I was Addie I would try my absolute best to get out of where she is. I would try to make a friendship and build a trust with the kidnapper, and when he would let me out, I would run. This book is filled with lots and lots of different situations. I really like how it goes from one thing to the next in such a fast pace.

1.Zaras powers: At the beginning of the book we find out that Zara has the power to control the wind with just a twist of her hand.

I am reading hollow city by Ransom Riggs. I got to page 289 out of 396.
if I were to choose a present for on of the children I would pick Hugh. a few chapters ago when the children got caught by some weights they were all taken to a base were they were beaten until they told them where there ymbre is. a ymbre is able to turn back time and is a leader of a loop. Hugh was the only one that didn't get taken by them. so Hugh had to go save them by setting all his bees to attack the weights. if I were to give a present to him I would give his more bees because once bees sting someone they die.

I am currently reading Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I am on page 372 of 418 pages.

By reading this current book has helped me to go out of my comfort zone and read different books that I do not usually be reading. I love the book I am reading so far, I like that there is a lot of adventure and action, but a little bit of romance to. Katy, the main character, just moved to West Virginia. But in the first book Obsidian, of this Lux series. Katy finds out that her next door neighbors are aliens. Including her best friend Dee and Dameon who is always mean to Katy. But in the second book, the one I am reading now, Katy has to go through many difficult challenges to stay alive. When the Department of Defense wants to do experiments on Dee and Dameon. Because the aliens have special healing powers. Overall, I like this book so far and can't wait to finish these book and read the third book in the lux series.

I am currently reading Its not summer without you by Jenny Han. I am on page 216, of 275.

To describe this book I would use a Popsicle. A treat mostly shared in summer, this book series is all about summer, a summer house, and mostly a summer family. The thing wit a popsicle is that after a while it melts away. And thats how summer is portrayed in this book. After all the time at the summer house, things afterward aren't the same anymore, people have died, and its changed everything. So the popsicle represents everything that this book offers, summer, endings, happiness, and even heartbreak.

I am currently reading DogSong by Gary Paulsen. Today I read to page 124 of 162.

If I were to give the main character Russel a present it would have to be a pot to cook meat and warm up snow in. Right now in the book Russel is out in the arctic wilderness and he his serving with his dog team. He can not boil his meat so he must eat it raw. Also he has ate so much snow that it is beginning to cut his lips. He always talks about how he wishes he could find a pot. He doesn't want to see another person but if he does he wants that person to have a pot so he can trade for it.

I am reading Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. I ended on page 174 of 338.

The character I chose in my book is the main character and narrator, Juliette. If there was one thing that I would give her for her birthday it would be to get rid of her ability to destroy things. With Juliette's touch, she can kill people and that's the one thing that she hates about herself. Her parents abandoned her because they weren't able to touch her, kids bullied her in school because they called her a freak. Now she is locked up in a prison-like place under control of a man that wants to use her to take over the world using her ability to hurt things and people. If she didn't have her ability anymore, I feel like she can finally feel normal like she's always wanted to be.

I have finished reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It has 551 pages.

I would give Max Vandeburg a birthday cake, primarily because he needs it. He is in a work camp in Nazi Germany and by the looks of things, he is getting worse. Although Max would probably give most of his cake away to other that need it more than he does, I feel like it would better his chances of surviving. In this book, death is a prominent factor of everything, in fact, death is the narrator. Helping Max survive would be important especially in a book ruled by death.
