[sorry about the late reply, school just started so I've been a bit busy]

"I don't plan on getting drunk, don't sorry," Oliver said, looking over his shoulder.

"Just... maybe a bottle or two. It has been a while since I had a good liquor, anyway. ... Oh, what am I saying? You're right," he said, standing up straight. "No point in drinking when our lives are on the line. I wouldn't want to get buzzed and make foolish decisions."

"...Should you really be drinking at a time like this?" Ivan sighed as he wandered into the bar.

At Edgar's Pub, Oliver sat on top of the wooden countertop, strumming the banjo he had brought over from the mines. Losing his flute hurt him, sure, but losing more people hurt him even more.

He let out a sigh and set the banjo aside after a few more minutes. He then decided to look for something to drink. It had been a while since he had a nice beverage, so maybe he'd get lucky and find something.

[Hi guys sorry but neither of you have made this QT permanent meaning I have to SHUT IT DOWN for now, farewell]

"Haha, that is true. Between finding Miss Gardner and finding a way to escape this bloody killing game... We certainly have quite a bit on our palate," Oliver agreed.

"...Talent comes at a cost," Ivan smiled. "The weight of responsibility on our shoulders...it's almost too overwhelming."
10:52 PM ET (US)
Oliver chuckled and did a small curtsy, beaming at the praise. "Thank you, Officer Ivanov! I am certainly glad that you appreciate my wondrous talent, unlike some other people who think my music is terrible... I can't seem to wrap my head around it. But oh well."

He shrugged as he put his flute back in his bag. "I just wish we get out of this bloody place. Such talent going to waste is criminal enough, but causing innocent deaths is unthinkable... But we'll find a way out soon enough. I'm certain of it. After all, we're all a talented group of individuals, are we not?"

Ivan listened contently, enjoying every second of Oliver's performance. At the end, Ivan gave a slight clap.

"That was wonderful," Ivan smiled. "Rattlewater truly is home to a talented group of artists."
04:37 AM ET (US)
Oliver happily nodded, already bringing his flute to his mouth to play. "I would be honored, officer! Now, prepare to witness my beautiful, sensational, glorious melody firsthand...!"

With that dramatic introduction, he began to play a rather calm and soothing melody on the flute, not messing up once.

"That's...a good idea, although now that I'm here to read, I'd appreciate some quiet."

Ivan stood still, thinking for a moment.

"Or perhaps you would honor me with another performance?"
06:53 PM ET (US)
Oliver let out a small yelp of surprise as he jumped up a bit, hitting his head against a bookshelf. "Oh, hello there--" he began, wincing a bit. It was right at that moment that a book fell on top of him, causing him to overdramatically grip his head and rub where the book struck him.

"... T-Thank you for the compliment, officer," the performer sheepishly said, a bit embarrassed by his blunder. "Ahem. Anywho, I was practicing here because it seemed vacant at the time, so I could completely focus on my wonderful music. Just wanted to distract myself from all of this killing game business." He paused. "... And now I'm thinking about it again."

"That was quite wonderful," Ivan smiled as he wandered into the library. "I came here to read some of the texts here surrounding magic...what are you doing practicing in a place like this?"
02:11 AM ET (US)

In the library, which seemed vacant to a certain performer at the time, a beautiful melody emitted from it -- it sounded like a flute.

Oliver was seated, his eyes shut as he effortlessly played a tune on his flute, the bag he brought along open next to him, opened up. He seemed quite entranced and impressed by his own performance, judging by the coy smirk on his face as he played.
