After the memorial, you walk back to your room with Anissa.

“H-Hey.” You said. “How have you been feeling about this whole thing?”

“I-I don’t know.” Anissa sighed. “I-I know there’s no shortage of people who’d want me dead.”

“I don’t think that’s true.” You purse your lips. “Are you thinking of...doing that again?” You’re referring to what happened in the Cluedo mansion.

“No. I just…” She shook her head. “I wish there was some way I could help.”
[2:00 PM]

At around 2 PM, Lyla and Molly hang out in the animatronics room.

“Aren’t these things amazing?” Molly exclaimed. “They’re like puppets, but they don’t need a person to control them!”

“I don’t know…” Lyla said. “They look kind of dangerous. They have guns and knives.”

“Oh, the knives are fake. Props. And the guns have blanks.”

You decide to keep yourself busy, and head to the meat locker on the ship. While there, you notice a butcher’s knife missing in the kitchen.

You keep yourself busy until eventually everybody gathers to look for Anissa.

Lyla and Molly investigate the camera room.

“I don’t really notice that much.” Molly sighs. “I feel like they should’ve picked someone else for this job.”

“Hmmm….” Lyla observed. “Some of this blood looks unnatural. It’s color is a little weird...or maybe it’s just chunkier than usual…?”

Molly and Lyla are hanging out when S shows up.

“Oh hey, S!” Molly shouts. “Ah hell, I’m too excited. Want your gift early?”

“Ah?” S asks, surprised. “I don’t think we’re supposed to-”

“Oh, lighten up. It’ll be fine.” Molly hands him a wooden doll. It’s a faceless child dressed kind of androgynously. A pen for drawing the face is attached.

“Oh wow…” Lyla looks at it. “That’s really amazing, Molly.”

“Yeah…” S says. “I don’t know what to…” He drops the doll and clutches his head. “God...not again…”

“S, are you alright?!” Lyla asks, trying to get him some support.

“I’m...I’m fine.” S stands up straight. “In fact, I think I remember something.”

“Huh? What?” Molly asks.

S doesn’t respond. He just stares at a strange key in his hand.

“Hey, where did you get that strange key?” Lyla asked.

He inserted it into the back of his neck. There was a clicking sound and his helmet popped slightly.

“You can unlock it?!” Lyla was incredulous.

S put his hands to the side of his helmet and clasped it shut. “I’m sorry, but I wish to discover who I am on my own…”

“Are you shy?” Molly teased. “Don’t want to undress in front of us?”

S didn’t respond again. He now headed towards the area they all just discovered. Eventually they found themselves in the time machine room.

“S, why are we here?” Molly hugs herself. The place clearly makes her uncomfortable. S takes out a key. It’s separate from his body--he must’ve gotten it from the cube.

He puts the key in the locked box and opened it. He just stares.

Lyla and Molly go to get a look at it and he slams it shut.

“I think we should start preparing for the Christmas party.” S nodded. “Don’t you two agree?”

“Uh...sure.” Molly nodded.

“I don’t think I’m gonna go.” Lyla sighed. “Not in the mood.”

The three separated.

You stay in your room the rest of the night to avoid the party. At around 11:30 you go to try the elevator to the new floor but it doesn’t come down. You sigh and head to the party to see where everyone is.

Silas and Lyla investigate the decontamination room and clean room.

The first they notice is that supplies have been used recently. But they can’t quite tell for what. Afterwards, they decide to check out S’s room.

“I feel bad about this.” Silas sighed. “But can’t be helped I guess.”

Lyla sees a crumpled piece of paper on the floor. “Wait a second, is that the letter he got?”

“I think so…” Silas realized.

Lyla picks it up off the ground and reads it aloud. “...You’re a murderer.”

So, the gift is not exactly original, but here goes.

It's a wooden shark with an 8-ball drawn on it, about 30cm long and 7-10cm tall. It's held up by 2 sets of 2 white-tipped wooden pool cues. In the shark's mouth is a smaller 8-ball that is held in via the jagged teeth and jags on the ball itself.

You wake up at around 7 AM. Sleep had been tough for a while, and the beds certainly didn’t help. You plan on getting about another hour, but go to reach for your gun first. It’s like a security blanket in a lot of ways.

You aren’t able to find it. It’s gone.

“Ah!” You yell. The other people in the cellar rouse awake: Casey, Molly, and Shirly.

“What’s wrong, kid?”

“Everybody stand up!” Lyla yells. She quickly overturns everybody’s cots and then pats them down.

“Hmph. You guys are clean.”

“I-Is something missing?” Molly asked.

“Yeah, my gun.”

“Your gun?” Shirly looked around instinctively. “Why would anyone steal that unless they were-?”

“Let’s not think about that!” Casey advised. “Let’s go look for it! Come on, Lyla!” Casey and Lyla left the cellar.

You split up from Casey and go to the lounge first, finding Silas.

“How’s it going?” Surprisingly, Silas is more fixated on his drawing at the moment.

“I’m gonna need to pat you down.”

You raise your eyebrow at her.

“Excuse me?”

“My gun. It’s missing.”

“Oh.” The disappointment on Silas’ face was clear. “Well, I don’t have it.”

Lyla looks at Silas as if to say “You expect me to just believe you?”

Silas sighs and stands up, lifting up his shirt just enough to show his waistband and turning around. “See?”

“Alright, fine.” She conceded. “Look, I’m already exhausted. And a missing gun is bad news. So, help me out if you get a chance, alright?”

“Sure thing.” Silas nods.

You leave and decide to check the dining room next, but nobody’s there. You head back down to the cellar and are with Shirly, Sachiko, and Molly when you hear the gunshot.

With a heavy heart, you head back to the cellar to see if anybody else has found it.

Later in the cellar, you hear a distant popping noise, but you and the others aren’t sure whether or not to investigate it.

Lyla and Akio end up investigating the conservatory.

“I hate this place.” Akio mumbled. “F-Fire killed Audrey! And maybe Momo too!”

“It was just a plant at the end of the day.” Lyla tries to be encouraging. “We have to stay focused on the task at hand.”

“*sniff* Ok.”

Akio searches amongst the debris and pulls out a revolver. “Ah, Lyla! Your revolver!”

Lyla hurriedly grabs it and frowns. “It’s empty.” She seems more upset at it than she should.

“I get it.” Akio nods. “It was the last thing Dallas gave you.”

“Well, there’s something really sad about a useless gun too...I think the fire damaged it.” She begins to bury it in the soil for a makeshift funeral.

“Uh, it might be better if we hold onto it.” Akio decided. “For the trial.”

Lyla looks among the debris next and finds something. “Hmmm, what’s this?” She indicated a broken pile of machinery.

“Huh? I’m not sure.” Akio rubbed his chin. “This gets curiouser and curiouser.”

“Whatever it was…” Lyla held up some copper wire. “I think they made a battery for it.”

“You’re telling me.” Lyla picks up a banana peel off of the floor. “Is this your doing?”

Finally, they examine Momo’s body. “A-Ah!” Lyla realizes. “He has the same green stuff I had on me when Audrey ate me!”

“She ate Momo? I don’t see why she’d spit him out though….unless that just happened naturally when she died.”

There’s not much else to notice. The fire wasn’t bad enough to affect other rooms, but it definitely burnt up any fabric or paper that might’ve gotten caught in the bulk of it.

Lyla lifted up Momo’s shirt and examined the bullet wound. “That’s interesting.” Her face got serious.

“The bullet wound isn’t circular like a normal one. It’s uh...oblong.”

Soon after, they get summoned for the class trial.

[Roughly 2:00 PM]

After Sir Cardor dismisses you all, Molly approaches you and some others with an idea. She has the head of the animatronic bear that was in the Animatronics repair room. What if Monokuma is the same? Perhaps you all can think of a way to disable Monokuma, or otherwise stop him from interfering with the other students. Among your group are Silas, yourself, Casey, and Anissa. Molly invites you all to her room in order to work uninterrupted.

“You… uh… want us to work on this in your room?” asks Silas, with significance on the word “room”.

“D-don’t read into anything!” replies Molly, annoyed. “I’m not inviting you to my room with three other girls for anything but working.”

Silas seems to accept that explanation.

Your think tank all work on the bear head all afternoon in Molly’s rooom-- but it’s slow going. None of you really specialize in small electronics. Other than the occasional bathroom break, they’re together until the body discovery announcement.

On one such break, you notice Silas leave. A few minutes later, you hear a voice you never wanted to hear again.

“A body has been discovered!” Monokuma’s voice shouts over the speaker system. “Students, please make your way to the Poker room!”

Lyla and Molly go through the second floor.

First stop is the pool, which has a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals. Molly can’t help but cough a little bit.

Next is the plaza-- nothing seems amiss here.

Finally, the hotel hallway with all the rooms. Both quickly realize that you really can’t search through any of the rooms.

“Well, we could always check out S’s room.” said Lyla. “I’m curious how he lives…”

“Oh… I don’t know-- it sort of seems like a weird invasion of privacy, doesn’t it?” said Molly. “I mean, it’s not like we can search any of the other rooms…”

“Aw, c’mon! What could it hurt?” asked Lyla, smiling mischievously.

They were both surprised to find that S’s door was already slightly ajar. As Lyla presses it forward, she enters. And… immediately, a balloon that was perched on top of the door falls onto Lyla, and it pops, sending water all over Lyla’s head and face.

Lyla frowned. “I’m gonna kill whoever set this up.” Molly gasped. “Er-- not really…” Lyla quickly adds.

Just then, Monokuma’s voice came up on a speaker nearby. “Students, the class trial will begin momentarily! Please make your way to the ground floor elevators!”

You look at your NG Code: “Someone else getting killed by their NG code”

Thursday night, you hear a knock on your door. You open it and see Dallas.

Can I come in?

“Uh, sure.” You say. You open the door and he steps inside. “What’s up?”

“Remember when I gave you the gun? You’ll need to use it today.”

“Dallas, I’m not killing anyone.”

“Not even the mastermind?”

You don’t answer. You just wait for him to speak.

I have a plan. If all goes well, we can go home.”

“I don’t like the sound of that...but fine. I’m listening.”

I accused the mastermind recently. And I know he’s watching out for me now. I told them I was gonna expose them in the foyer at midnight tomorrow.”

“You accused the mastermind? Who is it?”

“Err, I just accused everyone.” Dallas shrugged sheepishly. “But still, it’s as good a plan as any! I guarantee you I got a hit!”

“...what if it’s me?”

“Well, I had to gamble there. I can only pray I put my trust in the right person. Anyway, the mastermind is going to try to stop me from unveiling them tomorrow at midnight. If someone tries to kill me, I need you to shoot them.”

“Are you up to the task? You’re the Ultimate Sharpshooter, aren’t you?”

“Dallas, I can’t-”

“Damn it, Lyla! I don’t have much time. So...please. Just do this for me.” Dallas exits the room.

You come to the foyer at the designated time. Against all odds, a blackout does occur. You quickly pull out your gun, readying it in the area Dallas was in. You have to be perfect.

You fire.

You get assigned to investigate the general facility but don’t find anything useful. Shortly after, you get called for a class trial.

You are Lyla Everell The Ultimate Sharpshooter

You are at a competition-- a small local affair, but for some reason, something is making you nervous. Maybe just a feeling, but your shots are suffering as a result. Someone, you don’t see who, hands you a warm drink. You take a swig-- you don’t usually drink coffee while you’re shooting, but you can feel your concentration slipping, and so you don’t think it’s a bad idea. It turns out, you were wrong. Before you know it, you’re staring up at the sky, and then… being walked to an ambulance? And then… darkness...
