The book I was reading is Son it has 396 pages in it and I am on page 280.
A. I dislike how the author starts off the book, the beginning of this book takes place in a colony where women are forced to have children at a young age. I personally think that the author could have started the book out differently.
B. I like how the characters work together in this book, each of the members of the colony have a certain role as a team to help everyone out. By working as a team everyone gets along really well.
C. I like that the chapters in this book are shorter. The reason I like that is because it makes me feel like the book is longer than it actually is.
D. I don't like how the book ends, it was rather disappointing. The ending was sort of a let down from all of the build up during the book.

Today I finished Ms. Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children.

A. I don't like how to author isn't very descriptive at first. This does get better throughout the book, though.
B. I don't like how the main character seems kind of condescending. It's also kind of sad to me that you see his beliefs in his grandpa decline so quickly.
C. I like the chapters because they flow together very well. The author does a good job of connecting things.
D. I like that the book has a really imaginative and fantasy-like feel to it. It makes me feel like a kid when I read it.

I am on page 300 of 317 in Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban. A- I like the way the author is so descriptive. She tells the story in a way that makes you feel like you are there. B- I like that the characters are all different. I also like that they all develop, not just the main character. C- I like that the chapters are long. The chapter tittles don’t give away to much, but enough that you know what is going to happen. D- I like that the books are long. The farther you get into the series the longer they get.

I am reading Alive by Chandler Baker. It has 357 pages and I stopped at page 151. I sadly did not finish any books over the break.

A. I don't like that the author had the main character ditch Henry. He's perfect and sweet and Stella treats him like trash. He was there for her throughout her whole surgery, she was gone from school for an entire year and he did all of her homework for her and gave it to her in a binder. She just rejected it. He also spent 300 dollars on two tickets to go to her favorite band, a band he didn't eve like himself. She used the tickets to go to the band with Levi, her new boyfriend who she's known for 2 days and is already on the verge of losing her virginity too. I get that the reason behind her attraction or whatever is the fact that she has his dead girlfriend's heart (or at least I'm assuming) but it's stupid.
B. I don't like that the character Stella told her friend that she was basically easy for guys but the author made it so convenient that the best friend wasn't even mad about that. I also don't like ow Levi tracked down the girl who got his dead girlfriend's heart and it trying to make her into his new girlfriend. It's really too messed up. It's like he doesn't even love Stella, he only loves her heart and what he thinks he has left of his dead girlfriend.
C. I like that every chapter has her beats per minute right under the number of the chapter. It really makes sense since her heartbeat rises at certain times.
D. I don't like that the book sort of has an ugly cover. I also was hoping it'd be less of a romance book. In the little blurb on the back of the boo it makes you think that the story is sort of like a horror, and there are parts in the book that support that, but not enough. Also, I'm pretty sure Lev is suicidal. He's sort of weird, and it's weird that Stella is seeing her donor's dead ghost and having nightmares where she actually hurts herself by scratching at her chest with her own fingernails.

I am currently reading The Lightning Theif by Rick Riordan and I am currently on page 57 of 375. Also, I finished I am the weapon over the long break.
In my current book I like the the author is creative in describing people. One thing that I don't like about the author is the he killed off the mother of the main character too fast.
I like that the main character is figuring things out about himself very fast, he is a lt different then he thinks. I don't like how misleading see of the characters can be though.
I like that the chapters in this book aren't too short or too long. I also like how the chapters are named, it gives you a little sneak peak of what might happen in the chapter.
I like that the book is long because when I finish I have trouble finding another book. I also like that the book is part of a five book series.

I am reading We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han, I'm on page 197 out of 291 pages.

A. I like how descriptive and realistic the author is with this book, and even though it's a romance it's not always sappy realistic situations come up.
B. I sometimes don't like the characters decisions but sometimes the main character makes me mad because she will do something not intelligent then keeps a secret. Eventually her boyfriend of best friend will find out then it turns into a fight. It just makes me mad sometimes but they always find a good resolution to end it with.
C. I like how the chapters are narrated by different characters ex: Chapter 28 is narrated by Conrad, then it goes back the Belly. But it's nice to see how other characters are talking about the events and conflicts during the book.
D.I don't like how I'm reading the last of the series I really did enjoy these books and I'm almost finished with the last book so I'm kind of sad about that but happy I enjoyed them while it lasted.

B. I like that the characters are very real. I do not like that some of them aren't likable.
C. I like the chapters in Simon and Baz's perspective. I don't like the chapters in Agatha's perspective.

I finished The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen over the long weekend. I started Dear John by Nicholas Sparks today, I am on page 45 out of the 271 pages.

A. I like that the author put the dates and the location of that chapter at the beginning. It states where the main character was and what year it was when those events of the chapter were taking place.
B. I like that the characters go through so many changes throughout the book. I am barely into the book and I already like how they are changing as people.
C. I like that the chapters are longer. I like them longer because I like details and the chapters are very detailed.
D. I like that the book is set in two different times. The author is telling the story during 2000 but is giving flashbacks from earlier times.

I am currently reading The Reaper by: Nicholas Irving. This book has 312 pages and I am currently on page 129.

A. I like how the author explains and tells a backstory for every mission in this book. It has a lot of detail and I like that.
B. I like how the many characters are portrayed in this book. They are explained so well that I feel like I have personally met them.
C. I like how every chapter tells me different pert of his deployment. I really like how no matter what is happening in the chapter the author always take time to talk about the events impacted him as a person.
D. I like how this book doesn't just focus on the narrators experiences. I like how you learn abut his family and friends in this book.

I read The Supernaturalist: The Graphic Novel. I'm not sure how many pages are in it.

A. I like that the author for this book has diversity among characters, who each have different races, ability levels, and ages. The artist for this adaptation is really, really nice too.
B. I like that the characters are all different. There are three boys and one girl in the main group and all of them have vastly different personalities and values.
C. I don't really like that there aren't any page numbers. The chapters are nicely spaced and everything, though.
D. I like that the book uses a cool style that is really individual to this one artist. The artist that they used, along with the colorist that they had, made every panel on every page of this book a work of art. I really love the combination of the two artist's styles.

Im currently still on Witch World by Cristopher Pike. I read from 356 to 449.

a. I like that the author puts detail where detail is need. He doesn't over do it with details.
b. I don't like that the character Kari/Karla, is two sided. She will act weak one second but then she acts like she rules the world the next second.
c. I like that the chapters vary in size. They always seem to be the perfect length.
d. I like more like love that this book mixes fantasy with reality. Its just a great read.

I am reading plague and I am on page 456 of 492

A. I don't like that the author is really graphic in the book. The beginning books in the series were not as bloody.
B. I like that the characters are getting more and more developed. I also like that new characters are being added.
C. I like that the chapters switch perspectives. It is a great method to keep the readers attention and it gives you more to the story.
D. I don't like that the book has so many horrible, bad things going on inside it. It's frustrating to see the main characters fail and fail again and never catch a break.

I finished the book Salt to the Sea. I am now reading Between Shades of Gray and I am on page 53 of 336.

A. I like that the author started the book by having the guards come to the door right away. I don't like that the author didn't tell us what happened to the dad.
B. I like that the character Lina is stepping up to a role. Her mother is scared and trying to act like she isn't and Lina is doing the same.
C. I like that the chapters aren't that long. Each chapter is about 4 to 5 pages and those pages give good information.
D. I like that the book has the children taking risks. Normally they don't get along and aren't taking any risks.

I am reading Midnight Lady by Cassandra Clare and I am on page 654 of 668.
I like that the author has tied in characters from her other series that I loved. I enjoyed seeing where they were in life and how they are still as heroic as before.
I like the main characters because I love how much they care for each other, they would do anything for one another. I also like the antagonist of the story because you first think he is a friend and then he betrays the people he "loves".
I don't like how long the chapters are. They could be shortened, because they just seem to go on and on.
I like that the book is so long. It doesn't leave out any details you want, but it still leaves cliffhangers.

I am reading Unlikely Warriors by Georg Rauch. Im on page 161 of 317.

A. I like that the author is the main character in this book. He is telling how he was a Jewish soldier in WWII. He is telling how things were on the battle field and the front.
B. I like that the characters are always finding new ways to adapt to their current environment. I like the fact on how they are constantly trying to find food and are trying to find out what is currently happening in the war.
C. I don't like how their are practically no chapters in my book. Instead of chapters, my book is broken up into different sections.
D. I like how the book is told in first person. This makes it feel like you are actually their and you feel for your character and stuff like that.
