It does a bit, but not nearly as much. But placing on the wagons and their reasoning placed against the voting history is valuable regardless of what's flipped. If there's only one main wagon, you know there's probably only one scum on there and the rest voting elsewhere or not voting at all. Stuff like that.

Does voting history even matter before you lynch a scum?

Grim would be wise to keep his vote.

I think it really depends on playstyles. Past D1, not enough people here are willing to throw their votes out there. Like I said earlier, if people had more votes on the board, there could have been a contest, a more concerted effort by scum to steer the conversation and force them to out their selves. But with 1 vote per person until the last 2 or so hours of the phase, it gave free reign for scum to be able to pick a desirable lynch with one vote.

Going forward I will probably keep the majority rule, but I hope people have at least learned the importance of voting through this.

I think we've discovered why the majority for lynch rule exists in this game. Much like breadcrumbing for town, not needing a majority for a lynch is a huge advantage for scum.

I introduced the rule as a way to see how people react to the lynches differently. But with no one placing votes, you just end up with a few people at the last second deciding the lynch.

People should have been laying down votes within their first couple posts, so there's actually a competition. The lynch was almost randomized between four 1 vote options, and one of those was No Lynch!!!

Yeah, being outed by two votes is a bummer when there is still so many people left.

Town is so screwed.
