As scum power I had the option to either show as not having a gun or use ninja which made me invisible and show I did not go anywhere hence my sawing that scum could hide their actions. cause it was truthful lol. It was a great game. I enjoyed being scum and feeling a lot more relaxed this game.

It was harder being a lone scum after drealmer got modkilled. Crisit played a great game. Everyone played a great game and it was totally fun.

And that's it. Cristi and Sage killed the last two remaining townies (without knowing of each others kill). And therefore the game already ends.

/m150 - [...] totally hinted he'a town with his opening post as it was the exact same opening post he did in the last Stalker game where he was town.
I'm with RWarehall, him hinting he's town in his opening post the exact same way he did in the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game (not really) means diddly squat. Besides, that was nulled by Lifthrasil himself by posting the PMs in the OP and emphasising the word "loyal" in the town PM. Plus, notice Bookwyrm627's phrasing, "I am, of course, a loyalist, etc. etc. etc."; it's pretty clear he's jokingly referencing his opening post in the first game.

OK, I've dug out the post where Lifthrasil laid out the game mechanics and roles in the first game here. Krypsyn was a Godfather, and Sage103082 was a third-party JOAT.

Going through that post, and unless I'm misunderstanding something, there's nothing to indicate that powers altered in any way, shape or fashion. It was just a matter of how many full or half power slots town had at their disposal to fill from a finite pool of powers at any given Day/Night. Lifthrasil stated in /m145 that this didn't change, so I think you needlessly complicated things in your reads/analysis, RWarehall.

EDIT: Wouldn't it be pretty insane and hilarious if in this specific 9 players setup, there was one scum (drealmer7), and one third-party JOAT, who coincidentally is Sage103082 again?

The real problem is I needed Bookwyrm to catch it. I didn't have a PR until day 3. I could not be sure of the code. I don't get how Bookwyrm was completely focused on JMich and let that pass. The coincidence that Sage would claim the exact role I received and then Gamma claims the exact role I was looking for to confirm it. And I was stuck in the position of having no role for two days, so I'd be having to claim first. I also totally don't get how Bookwyrm even thought there was a Doctor out there given how the powers work after JMich's flip. For someone who seems to always want to pry open the cracks, I would think any role except that one...
I wanted to get a full claim, but I get two quick votes and a refusal to remove any of them. All game it has been players so trusting in their reads they don't even bother to pull back when called on it.

As to Bookwyrm hinting he's town, any player can hint they are town, but that means nothing really.

Krypsyn had some power in the game as mafia but I don't remember what it was. I also just realized that bookwyrm totally hinted he'a town with his opening post as it was the exact same opening post he did in the last Stalker game where he was town.

/m147 - How do you explain that her investigation by trentonlf N1 returned a positive result as having a gun? I'm not aware of any variation of Watcher ever having a gun. The only town PR in the game that would return a positive result is a Vigilante, but her claim doesn't fit that.

She was in the first game, and she's both experienced and smart enough. Do you really think it that unlikely that she took a calculated risk and made that claim, especially after trentonlf took a PR to his grave, and couldn't share his findings? It sure felt like she piggybacked JMich's reveal, plus that "scum have the ability to hide their actions" sounded fake and a tad too convenient, not to mention that she's the only one (I think) that tried to convince everybody that the roles work differently than in the first game. It just doesn't quite add up.

I'm too lazy to go check, so question - did scum have any sort of PR in the first game?

/m146 I don't think it would have mattered anyway, as the role dies with your death and doesn't get transferred. The void was the only smart play. As much as uninformed town can think they know someone is town, they can't be sure enough taking that risk and passing on a PR to scum is just handing them a town claim.

/m143 Because the power she claimed, Watcher is exactly the power I received day 3. Unless scum were given a set of roles to claim, which is possible, the easier explanation is that she had Watcher as claimed, sent it to the void where Gamma picked up the altered version Tracker who sent it to the void where I received it. It was pretty clear at that point, no one would deliberately send me a power. That and the two other claimed roles had a similar pairing (save a life, take a life).

Given the way the void worked, anyone sending was town as well as the receiver.

I almost sent my power to RW or bookwyrm instead of the void, but I was still unsure at the time if that was a good idea. Should have gone with my gut and sent it.

/m139 the powers work similar to the first game, just the lineup of powers changed a bit.

/m141 - If this setup is like the first game, and I recall correctly, your role was taken out of the pool upon your death.

/m142 - Yeah, commented similar in /m80. There are quite a few things about her, such as her vote on RWarehall today (town does not put someone at L-1 this early into the Day), but everybody seems to be determined to scum-read the noise town is making that they've not bothered to take a second look at her.

@RWarehall, why are you town-reading Sage103082 this strongly?

I also find it funny that no one asked why I was the NK on night one. I was pretty sure Sage was scum and that's why I investigated her for a gun. I guess Sage knew I was onto her and killed me N1, and if anyone went back and read my posts to her they would see I suspected her.

I had a cop role (I could see if someone had a gun) and I passed it to the void on N1 after I investigated Sage. So if roles morph then what did mine morph into?

/m139 If I'm right, that Vig shot turns into a Doctor role, and either Sage or Gamma has it now. Unless Bookwyrm was actually as cocky on his reads and really passed on a Vig shot instead...

In case it wasn't clear, my "him" in /m134 was referring to Bookwyrm627, not RWarehall, even though his play didn't seem particularly towny to me until that self-hammer.

/m135 - Well, given that there are only 4 players left, there's a good chance you are right. In which case, drealmer7 played horribly bad for his team. Not that town played to their best.

/m36 - Sometimes flipping is the only way to change people's view and reads, so I can understand why RWarehall did it. Only shame is that he took the only power that was a real danger to scum with him, and by revealing it he just told scum, kill freely.

@Lifthrasil - do powers work exactly as in the first game?
