I am reading the conjured It has 223 pages. I am on page 23. No, I didn't read over the break because I was way to busy. The genre of this book is a thriller. I am liking this book a lot. I like thriller/horror books or movies. It has detail which i like. It also doesn't have a slow start to it at all.

I am reading Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira. It has 313 pages, I am on page 123. I finished The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks over the long break. The book I am currently reading is young adult contemporary. I am enjoying this book so far, but it has a sad reason for all of the letters. The only thing I am not really a fan of in this book is all of the different people she writes to. I don't know most of the people she writes to or what they really did in their lifetime that she would choose them of all the famous dead people. I like that she is very conservative and keeps to herself at her school. She is very private and when she got her assignment she wrote more than one letter, but didn't turn anything in. I like that she is a lot like some people I know and are my friends, the main character is very relatable.

I'm reading Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider. It has 324 pages and I'm on page 189. Over break I finished two books; Perfect by Ellen Hopkins and The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore. I like to read more than one book at once because sometimes I just need a break from a certain plot or characters. The book I am reading right now is contemporary. It's pretty good, but the other books I read were better. I've been reading this one for a while, but I'm not going to give up on it because I've already read so much of it. It's starting to get better because Lane finally kissed Sadie! It's actually a pretty good book, but I've been comparing it to those other books I've read and it's got nothing on them. So, in this book these teenagers are sent to this boarding school in the woods because they have a very contagious disease called TB. This is about Lane learning to have fun instead of planning everything. Plus there is romance between Lane and Sadie obviously.

I am currently reading The Darkest Path by Jeff Hirsch. There are 320 pages and I stopped on page 284 today. I did lot of reading over my break, especially when I was sick and traveling, but I did not finish any books. I would consider this book of the SCFI genre. I like this book but I am not crazy about it. I like the idea of this novel and it is interesting but it is confusing. I like the general Idea of this novel but I don't necessarily like the writing style. Overall this is a good book, but there are some things I don't like about it.

I just started reading Searching For Sky by Jillian Cantor. There are 276 pages and I am on page 65. I did not read during the break I was very busy with family events. The book I am currently reading is non-fiction. I am really enjoying this book. It leaves out some details so, reading and paying attention gives certain facts that make the book more interesting. For example, towards the beginning I was given very little detail about how Sky and River were stranded on the Island. Then later in the book it tells me that her family and Rivers family were in a boat crash so they were left on the island with just her, her mother, River, and his father. I just read about her mother and Hulemut dying.

I am currently reading Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon. The novel has 464 pages and I stopped on page 340. I did quite a bit of reading over spring break. I read in the car on the way up to my grandparents house. With all the reading I did I finished and Ember in the Ashes and I started Infinity. The genre of Infinity would be fantasy. I am enjoying my book so far. It can be confusing is some parts. Also there are some parts that are weird and don't really make sense. My favorite part of the book would be the forshadowing in the book. My least favorite part would be that it can be slow in some places, and there are random plot lines that go on that don't really add anything to the book.

The book I am currently reading is called Plum Lovin' by Janet Evanovich. There are 164 pages and today I stopped on page 32. Over the break I did do some reading and I finished the book Mistaken Identity. I realy liked this book and it has been my favorite that I have read all year. The genre of the book I am currently reading is mystery. The book also has some romance come to play so far. I dislike that it is kind of confusing and they didn't give that much information or back story about the characters. I am in a way enjoying my book. It is not like I love it and can't put it down but it is me trying something new and trying to enjoy it. I never really read mysteries because they always would creep me out. But, I guess there is always a time where you should try new things.

I am reading Edith's Story by Edith Velmans. There is 239 pages total and I am on page 83. I did a lot of reading during the break and I almost finished Reality Boy. The book genre of Edith's Story is nonfiction and is about the holocaust. I like the book because it is coming from the author's perspective and is written in diary form. I also really like it because the author is very descriptive and informative about the holocaust. She mentions a lot to make sure people are really understanding what is going on during that time. She also talks about her family and herself, mentioning what their feelings and thoughts. This is good because you get to hear about everyone's feelings and see how people are reacting differently to the situation.

I am reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. There are 406 pages and I am on page 274. I got the book this weekend and read about 220 pages. The genre of this book is young adult fiction/fantasy. I like the book a lot so far! It has a lot of action, adventure, and romance. There are a series of these books: Uglies, pretties, specials, and extras. In this world there are people that are called the Uglies, the pretties the specials, and the extras. Usually when you are 16, you turn into a pretty. This is a lot like my last book series I read.

I am reading Love by Jerry Spinelli. This book has 274 pages and I stopped on page 43. Yes I finished the book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. The book I reading now is the sequel of Stargirl. I would consider this book to be somewhat romance. I am really enjoying this book right now. It really helps me understand the parts of my last book I didn't get. Love is a book of letters Stargirl writes to her old boyfriend Leo. She had to move and doesn't know how to tell him how she feels. She meets new people but isn't happy anymore. Her wagon is down to one pebble, if there are more pebbles the happier she is. The only thing I dislike is how she makes herself feel bad ever since they broke up.

I am reading Quantum Prophecy by Michael Carroll. It has 264 and I ended on page 100 today. I did a little bit of reading during the break but not a whole lot. The Genre of this book i am reading is Science Fiction A.K.A Sci Fi. I am sort of enjoying this book. It started out very slow more of a detail get the characters down beginning. But lately there has been more action which has been really cool. The main character can shoot fireballs and stuff out of his hands which is pretty cool if you ask me.

I just finished 11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass. It has 267 pages in it. I did a little reading over the break, but I didn't finish any books. 11 Birthdays genre is fiction. I like my book a lot. I liked how the author gave background information about all the characters. I liked how she tied the beginning into the end. I thought that the author could have explained more about the characters situations and feelings. I really do like this book and can't wait to read more books written by her.

I am currently reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The novel has 550 pages in it and i stopped on page 391. I did not do any reading over the break, however I did finish laughing at my nightmare the same day I started it. The novel I am currently reading is a Historical fiction novel (I think). Right now I am enjoying the novel as I am nearing the end. In the beginning it was very slow to get going and overly descriptive, which may explain why it is read in AP English it would be interesting to analyze and see what different people would pull out of the text. One of the things I enjoy about it is the process of teaching Liesel how to read. When the novel started she was a very poor reader, and in the chapter I just finished she was reading to everyone in the bomb shelter. I believe that I am starting to enjoy this novel more because more action is actually happening, Germany is starting to fall. One thing that I might dislike about this novel is if the question "Is Liesel a Jew?" goes un answered. Other than that this book is very interesting and gives new incite to the Holocaust.

I am reading the Tomb of Shadows. There are 338 pages and I stopped on page 265. I read the book Emperor of Nin Honja or how ever you spelled it and finished it over the weekend. The book I am reading now would be a fiction book. Right now I am really liking this book. What I like about the book right now is that it is a very adventurous book. It also does a good job at describing and explaining things for people. One thing that I don't like would probably be how the story line can get confusing.

I am currently reading the book The Dead by Charlie Higson. This book has 485 pages and I stopped on 391. I did not do any reading over the short break we had, sadly. I was caught up with things I had to do with my family. The genre of the book I am reading is most likely horror, considering that it is an apocalyptic novel about zombies and such. I do enjoy this book, in fact, this is the second book in the trilogy. I really enjoyed the first one, and look forward to reading the last one. The way that this author writes the novel makes it really to visualize the setting, characters, and zombies especially. However, I really don't like how the author kills off my favorite characters, but it does make me want to keep reading to see who all survives. I like how Charlie makes his characters, a lot of them are sarcastic, and have a general knowledge of what is happening in the world. Some characters lack that personality, though. After I am finished with this trilogy, I might look at a few of his other works to see if I would enjoy those too.

I am currently reading the book Eyes on Target by Scott McEwen and Richard Miniter. The book has a total of 205 pages and I stopped on page 53 today. I did a little reading over the break but not as much as I would have liked to get done. I didn't finish any books over the break. The book I am currently reading is a non-fiction war novel about different missions and how the Navy SEALs came to be. I am really enjoying this book as of right now. One of the reasons I like this book is because it talks about the history behind the Navy SEALs and how they came to be what they are today. They started out as "frogmen", which they were known for the suits they wore when diving, and have transformed into an elite military organization. Another reason I really like this book is because it talks about many different people and many different missions. They talk about men from WWII to almost present day where I am at in the book. One thing that I dislike about the book is that it talks a lot about the history of the people and also it very slowly leads into the how they affected the SEALs. In my opinion they should give some background knowledge but not as much as they do in the book.
