Sports are essentially for stupid and emotionally stunted people. They really all are children's games and are a complete waste of a thinking person's time. Troll is on the right path.

Last time I played golf I was evidently too slow because I was walking and it was a hot day and everybody did seem to have a cart. They started hitting golf balls into me even though I would let people through and was moving right along. They are called speed golfers and many of them are fat as a pig. So it does seem nowadays that a cart is a requirement because people are in such a hurry and don't respect walkers who slow them up. I'd rather go hiking, biking, and other free outdoor activities that don't expose me to that kind of behavior.

The amount of exertion golfing also depends on how well you hit the ball. :)

Depends if you play 9 or 18 holes and if you're pulling a hand cart up and down a hilly course for 4 hours. Since you're a carrier with a bag strapped on yah you should have an idea what exercise is. I know a lot of people on a 90 degree day couldn't walk 18 holes pulling a cart. Everybodys interpretation of exercise is different.

/m40 Yes, I have golfed a lot and never used a cart. Maybe you are a clerk, manager, rural carrier, or city carrier in an area with mounted routes. I am a city carrier where park and loop are the norm. So, no, golf is not exercise. Golf as exercise to someone is like diet pop and granola bars are diet foods to a fat person.

Not a Saints or a Vikings fan. Really don't care one way or another who wins, might as well be New England again. Tom terrific deserves another one, Go Patriots! As far as golf goes, have you heard of walking 4 hours when you play 18 holes? What a dum azz!

Mostly for people who believe golf is a sport.

That might be true, but I won't waste nearly as much time watching with my DVR. I wont be paying for any tickets, buying concessions, sitting through those insanely long TV commercials at the game. I don't have NFL ticket or the NFL channel. Right now I sometimes only watch the 4th quarter on my DVR. My favorite sporting event by far isn't the superbowl, it's the masters golf tournament hands down. Any major golf event is by far better.
