I'm reading Beyonders: A World Without Heroes, which has 425 pages, and I'm on page 304. I chose to make up an answering machine recording for the main characters.
"Hey, uh, this is Jason. Sorry if you're trying to contact me, I'm a bit preoccupied with saving the world. What? No, no, I'm just recording a message in case someone calls. What do you mean you can't call from alternate planes of existence? Whatever. If you need me, I should be back home soon... hopefully. Leave a message and I'll get back to you after I finish defeating a tyrannical wizard king!"

I am reading Charlie Presumed Dead, it has 263 pages and I am currently on page 45, I just finished the book House Arrest. I am going to talk about the main character in the book I just finished, the main character and narrator of the book Timothy, is a really important person in this book. He is trying to do everything he possibly can to help his baby brother Levi, Levi was born with a very small diaphragm and has a very hard time breathing right. They are all the way down in Texas and Timothy tries to get ahold of the best doctor in the country, to help his brother. Unfortunately the doctor doesn't respond quickly enough and levi was turning purple and a major accident happens. I think Timothy is very important because he is putting his little brother before himself, that just shows how great of a guy he is, and how much he cares about his little brother. After all Timothy hears back from the doctor and finds a treatment for Levi, Timothy's determination bought everyone back and healthy and I really admire that about this character.

I am reading Code Name: Johnny Walker it has 277 pages in it I got to page 8 and I just finished a book called Ghosts of War. I will actually be talking about the book I just finished in this journal. The character that changed the most throughout the story didn't know how much he would change through the years he was in the military. The main way he changed was during basic training, which is like boot camp. When he joined the military he had no idea how much his freedom meant to him and how much e took it for granted. With the drill instructors screaming at him and beating on them and forcing them to work as a team did he finally realize that he found a way to make it up to his country. So he went to Iraq to serve in the military, not knowing how much he would come to change in the next year he was their.

The book i am reading is called The Cellar, it is 356 pages long and I am currently on page 62. I just finished Psychopath by Keith Ablow and it was an amazing read. I haven't got too far into the story since I've just now started it but I will answer the question do any of the characters change throughout the story. I would like to argue all of the girls changed. Being held captive, the longer it lasts the more your defiance mellows out. The girls slowly lose hope and Rose who has been there the longest, 3 years, probably has no intention or really want to escape or ever be found. It's complicated since the girls didn't really have a good life anyways so really there will to escape back to their abusive parents and the such isn't very strong. I hope Lily stays strong and defiant and hopeful and I doubt she ever will become submissive to the kidnapper since she has people she loves looking for her unlike the other girls who have no one.

Today I started reading and got to page 133 in Close To Famous by Joan Bauer. I have just finished the book Love and Geleto which was about a girl who moves to Italy to meet her father. In Close to Famous there is a scene where someone break into Foster and her mother's house. This is a very important part of fosters life. If that never happened then Foster and her mom would never have moved to a small town in West Virginia. This changes Foster it forces her to make new friends and deal with the fact that she can't read. Foster wants with all her heart to be a tv backer. Once she moves to the small town she starts selling her food. This helps to give her more self confidence and make her less shy.If then never had to move Foster would still be that shy kid.

The book I am currently reading is called The Blueprint by: Christopher Price. This book has 278 pages and I am currently on page 50. Plot 1. This book starts by introducing the how the NFL got started. It all started as an idea to bring people together to show off talents of players and to make a lot off cash. But this doesn't work out all that well because they can't seem to keep a lot of teams and players in New England. Baseball was much more popular at this time and that is why not a lot of people liked to watch football. The Patriots who this book is about had the worst time out of all of the teams even getting started. The author wrote about how the team went through four different stadiums and 3 names all within 10 years. After reading chapter one I really got a good idea about how the team struggled to maintain a team in the league. This book does a great job of filling you in on what is going on in the league.

I am reading Shiver, I am on page 326 of 390.

I chose my book from the cover. I typically pick books that looking interesting and then after reading the summary decide if I will really read it. Sometimes the title plays a big part for me. This books title also is interesting, the font and color made me curious when I saw it. I love wolves and the book also has the shape of a wolf in the woods on it. I also love the color blue and that is the main color of the book. The summary also interested me, and made me want to read it. I picked this book not only because of its cover and summary but I was also recommended the book by a friend of mine. She said that I might like it and she's right.

I finished the book Now by Morris Gleitzman and it has 163 pages. I am now reading the second book in that series called then and it has 196 pages in it. I have read 15 pages of the 196 pages in the book. If I were to choose a character right now who I thought was important, it would have to be Felix. Felix is only 10 and he's very brave and acting older than he is. He has to stop and be an adult for Zelda who is only 6, and lost her family. He's pretty important because he's figuring out what is happening and trying to figure out how to keep him and Zelda safe. He made a brave choice from jumping off a train to get him and Zelda safe. He's caring and looking out for Zelda like she's a sister. He's always trying to find things for them and make sure they're safe. The thing that really sticks out is that he is putting Zelda before himself and making sure she's safe.

My new book is Wanted by Sara Shepard, it is the last book in the series and i am on page 97 of the 259 pages.

Prompt: Who are the main characters of the story? What kind of people are they? How do you know?

The main characters are Emily who is very generous and kind. She is always helping others in the books. I know this because she offers to help everyone in the book and is very kind to them. Another main character is Aria who is very cautious with what she does. She does not like to draw attention to herself and I know this because you can tell that she doesn't want a lot of people to know about her drama. Spencer is another main character and she is very tough on herself when she gets stuff wrong. Her parents want her to be as good as her sister which is challenging because her sister is very smart. I know this because her parents are always telling her to work hard so she can grow up like Melissa did. The second to last main character is Hannah who loves attention. She always wants to be the center of attention and she loves to be popular. I know this because she always wants to be in the spotlight. And the last character is Allison who is well known for her looks and loves to get attention from boys. She is very popular and all the girls want to be like her.

I am reading Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. This book has 422 pages, and I stopped on page 300 today. For my topic, I chose to pick and character and explain why they are important to the story. I chose the main character, Ruby. One obvious reason that she is important to the story is because she is the main character! She is also important to the story because her personality is very distinct and it explains a lot about the way she interacts with other characters. She was sent to live with her sister after her mother left, and she has not seen her sister in about 5 or 6 years. Her reaction to this was easier to understand once you got a feel for her character. I think it's important to understand the type of personality Ruby has and to actually get a better feel for the reason she does things the way she does. I can relate to her in a lot of ways, which also shows that the author has done a good job of expressing this character as an individual. Overall, I think one thing that REALLY makes Ruby an important character is the fact that you get to watch her change as the novel goes on.

I am reading Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare it has 570 pages and I am on page 252. Will Heronadale is one of the main characters in the story. He is very reckless when it comes to people he cares about, an example of this behavior would be when he reached into the fire to get the yin fen that Jem had thrown in, just to make sure Jem could have a little more time. He also ran away from his family because he believed he was cursed. A final example would be that he left left the Institute to find Tessa even though he knew he would probably die in his efforts. He also is very stubborn. This is demonstrated whenever he is in the same room as Gideon Lightwood. He refuses to even think about forgiving or at least acting civil towards him. He is also very intelligent. He reads a lot, which he bonds with Tessa over. He can speak different languages and goes between English, Welsh, and Mandarin with ease.

I am reading Fake ID by Walter Sorrells I am currently on page 124 of 373. In my book their is a character by the name of Addison Purtis. He is the father of the main character's best friend Ben. He is a very peculiar man, kind of suspicious in a way. When Chastity's mom goes missing in the beginning, he seems very helpful. Now that she has started looking into her disappearance, he is beginning to look very suspicious. For example, when Chass is playing music in his shed, he comes out to talk about her mother. When she starts asking him questions, he becomes very short with her and presses for a different topic of conversation. She asks him about a disappearance that he was linked to in high school and basically confesses that he knows what happened although the mystery was never actually solved

I am reading Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi and I'm on page 320.
I am choosing to write about a characters strengths and weaknesses. The character I chose is the main character Juliette. In the beginning of the series she had many more weakness than strengths. For example, she was a coward, she pitied herself and didn't allow herself to overcome obstacles that she was facing. She also was very easily persuaded, she went with what others were doing because she was scared of the world. Now in this last book she is strong. She does what she wants and doesn't worry about what others may think of her. She was able to cut out toxic people in her life in order for her to grow into her true self. Overall, Juliette's strengths are fair greater than her weaknesses.
