I partially think the entire board needs a break, honestly. We had like a month break between 4 and 5, and I think that helped. I think that it's needed.

We're supposed to, and a number of people actually served out a game ban on their own volition after POI mafia, but if we banned each modkilled there would hardly be anyone left. Honestly I think there's a number of players due for a two to three game break. Was really hesitant to join this one honestly as I felt my break hadn't been long enough, but the concept and everything was pretty cool after reading it so I joined. :) Really hope to see wills and death notes incorporated into future games.

Oh, and I definitely think that anyone getting modkilled for inactivity or rule-violation in an official main or mini mafia should get a temporary ban from upcoming games. But this is not the right place for discussing that, of course!

The idea I have is not going to FIX the inactivity problem, but I hope it will improve upon it slightly. I am going for an items-gives-you-powers kind of Mafia which means that even people who start out as regular Townies will always have the possibility of finding new items to unlock more stuff to do, either actively or passively. Each new day and night phase, at the start, a new item will be added to the game - And only the players who have been active will be eligible to win it. (They will be randomly distributed.) Furthermore, items will be tradeable so the people who communicate with others and work hard to establish their town alignment will be more likely to end up getting some gifted to them. I really hope that this idea would boost activity at least a little bit.

Activity has always been a HUGE issue in mafia sadly. I had to use like 4 replacements in my game. The one thing that absolutely grinds my gears is all the modkills. Aren't modkills supposed to be banned for a minimum of one game?
