I am reading Scratch Beginnings and I am currently on page 60. This semester I have completed 10 books total. I have read non-fiction, fiction, graphic novel, and historical fiction. My most favorite book would probably have to be Tuesdays with Morrie, because it really taught me a lot of life lessons. My least favorite book would probably have to be March, because it just took so long. I learned that I am an efficient reader when I actually put my mind to it. I actually did enjoy reading when I liked the book. I really enjoy non-fiction books that tell great life lessons or teach something. All the books I read have been by different authors.

3. What was your MOST favorite book of the semester? The Homelands series, the Escape from Furnace series, and the Hardy boys books.
4. What was your LEAST favorite book of the semester? The gravediggers, mountains of bones.

When I was younger I read a lot. Then when I got older I fell into video games. Then highschool came around and then I started to read again. Now, I try to read every day. Or listin to music everyday, which every comes easier.

In class I finished reading 8 books this semester. I read mostly nonfiction books, but I also read a fictional book, a science fiction book, a graphic novel, and a fantasy book. I think my favorite book this semester was probably the book about WWII.
My least favorite book was the brain camp book. What can I say, graphic novel's just aren't for me.

I learned that I didn't like graphic novel's, and I know to avoid them in the future. I always wondered what they were like, but now I know. I already knew I enjoyed reading, but I was surprised how I enjoyed reading the science fiction book. I've read science fiction books before, but usually that was just the background or setting, usually the actual book itself was more of a mystery type thing. But the book I read was pretty hardcore, and it was all about the science in the science fiction novel. I now know to go read those books, and I plan on reading the sequel to the book.

I have finished 21 and am on my 22 book this semester. I have read Fiction, Nonfiction, graphic novel, manga, romance, and mystery book. Immortal Hearts was my the best book I have read this semester. My the book that i liked the least was a graphic novel called 2024. Having the time to read in school has made me remember that I love reading and love the way some authors write. Having the to reread some of the book i haven't read in forever made my so happy. Also giving me the time to finish so of the different seres that I had started in the past but didn't get to finish.

Im currently reading The Things They Carried and I'm on page 157. I have read 23 books this semester. I have read Humorous, Non-Fiction, Graphic Novel, and Fiction books. The book that I liked the most was One Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury. My least favorite book would have to be The No Weres, I don't enjoy reading graphic novels, I don't understand them. One of the main things I learned about myself as a reader this semester was how fast I can read and still remember what I read. The more time I get to read the more I enjoy reading. My mom always used to tell me how I should start reading books because I would be good at it. I didn't believe her at all, at least not until I got to this class. The stories that I like the most are the ones where the author makes you feel like your part of the book.

I'm currently reading the fiction book Rapunzel Untangled by Cindy C. Bennett and I'm on page 134.

1. How many books did you finish reading this semester? I finished 20 books and I'm in the middle of one so I will most likely end the semester with 21 books.
2. List the different GENRES of your books. I read mostly fiction. I read a lot of fantasy, and disease fiction mostly dealing with mental illness. I also read some supernatural fiction at the beginning of the semester.
3. What was your MOST favorite book of the semester? My favorite book of the semester would be The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. I love Picoult's writing.
4. What was your LEAST favorite book of the semester? My least favorite book was Splintered by A.G. Howard. The author was all over the place and I never really understood what was going.
5. What did you learn about yourself as a reader this semester? Did you learn that you really enjoy a particular kind of writing or story? If you read many books by the same author, what did you learn about that author's stories or style?
I learned this semester that I really enjoy fantasy novels and fairy tale retellings in general. I have learned that I need to go out of my comfort zone more and read different authors. I have read more new authors in this semester than I read in all of 2012. I have learned there is a whole world of books waiting to be discovered. I have reflected on my books more this semester to decide what I really like about books and what I don't.

I just finished the book the last thing i remember. I read 8 books this semester. all of the books i read were all nonfiction books with information or they were books with adventure with a lot of adrenaline in the books. i have 2 of my favorite books that i read this year, they are Driver By Phillip Wilson and the last thing i remember by Andrew Klavan. i do not have a least favorite book for the semester. Given the time i had i can enjoy reading the books with out rushing to get them read at home. i love reading books about action and with cliff hangers and books that leave you hanging till you read the next book. will i have to go have a great summer.

The God of Small Things and I finished.

I read 11 books this semester. They were all fiction except for two books which were non fiction (The Rescue Artist and Ronald Reagan). My favorite book was House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti. My least favorite book was Ronald Reagan because I'm not a huge fan of graphic novels. I didn't really learn a ton about myself as a reader. I have always loved reading, so I already knew that. I just need adequate time to read because the school year is really busy for me. I also have always liked fantasy, mystery and thriller genres, and those were mainly what I read. I read the most books by Ted Dekker and he always parallels the Bible in some way. I did surprise myself by reading The Bridget Jones's Diary and not actually minding it because I usually don't go for books that would be considered "girly".
