I have 20 vintage ink blotters from the 1937 World's Fair. These feature Jefferson Island hexagon free running salt and are in a hexagon shape. I guess this was the same Jefferson Island where the mine disaster was. I'm trying to sell them for a friend who would like $2.00 each for them or best offer if sold as a total group. If interested, I'm at david.emery@twc.com

Entire collection of antique salt cellars for sale. Serious inquiries only. Hundreds of salts in this collection. I will send pictures to those serious about the collection. I do not have a price I could list. I would like to work that out between me, the seller, and you, the buyer. I have many master salts in this collection as well. I used 5000 Open Salts, a collector's guide when collecting. There are hundreds of salts from glass, to porcelain and everything in between. My email address is jemarcell3017@gmail.com.

Email me with interest and offers: DSB70518@gmail.com or call 337 280 9739. Also have a large collection of toothpick holders if someone has dual interests.

Hi, These are the salts that Sarah mentioned in her post. There are about 575 in the displays, with no duplicates. However, do have more salts that are packed, some would be duplicates and some individuals.
Sorry, did not realize the picture would post sideways and can only post one picture. But hopefully, if gives you an idea of the selection.

Today I have posted another pair of antique open salts to ebay - German 800 Silver Vermeil, Rococo style, ca. 1890 - 1910.
They are finely repoussť and hand-chased gold-wash silver, on four scroll feet, with open trellis panels to either side. Frosted and cut glass liners, which follow the Baroque profile of the silverwork. Great condition. If you would like to look them up, here is the post title: Pair of antique open salts, silver vermeil Rococo style, Germany,ca. 1890-1910
Happy hunting!

Greetings to all open salt collectors! I am offering two pairs of Daum Nancy "Mimosa" open salts (circa 1996) in clear coloured "pate de verre" on ebay. Sure to grace the collection of a discerning connoisseur. They are beautiful and in mint condition, as new, in their original branded boxes, with mint condition original crystal shell-shaped salt spoons. We received them as a wedding present from a generous friend. We are planning to move house in July, and with regret downsizing means that we can only keep some of our cherished items. I am based in London, England, and I would be happy to combine postage for both pairs.
