I am reading Oh my gods, and I have just finished the book. In this book Phoebe, got into a sticky situation with Adara, Griffin, and Stella. Phoebe and Stella made a deal where Stella would help Phoebe with her Greek words, if Phoebe get her some magazines and broke Griffin and Adara up. Phoebe was going along with the deal, and she started hanging out with Griffin when she found out that she actually liked him. Phoebe thought Griffin like her until she found out about the bet that Griffin made with Stella and Adara. Griffen said he could make Phoebe fall in love with him, and if he couldn't he would buy Adara and Stella lattes. Phoebe was very hurt when she found out about the bet. This was a sticky situation because they both made a form of a deal that didn't turn out. Phoebe was falling for Griffin just to find out that it all was a joke, and he really didn't care about her. She was trying to move past this by forgetting the embarrassment she had.

4. What I Want to Be When I Grow Up Day: Think of one of the main characters in your book. Write about that character's dreams or goals or wishes for his/her life.

I am reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruel, i am just starting this book and i am on page 47. I'm not 100% sure i know the characters enough in this book to state what they want and everything yet but i do know that Jacob wants to take over his fathers business at the vet clinic after he sadly finds out that his parents are dead , instantly from a car accident but sadly , the banker says its not going to look that way because of the way the economy is looking and how his parents didn't pay off the mortgage, but something will all be figured out, and maybe he will take the advice and go west like the baker said.

The white fox chronicles by Gary Paulsen, page 189.

2. The stickiest situation was created when the CCR camp inspected the bunk of Cody Pierce. They found a wire (for picking locks) and a CCR uniform (back up in case luther and "white fox" was spotted by the CCR). Luther would pose in the uniform and say he had captured white fox, and was bringing him back to camp. The Camp "warden" somehow found out that Cody was planning to escape. Cody was immediately dragged a punishment cell and the next day, he was tortured, but didn't say who his accomplice (Luther) was. That night, he picked the lock in his cell and escaped with the major (an injured america rebel). They got to the tunnel were they waited for Luther. Luther saw Cody was bringing the Major, so he sacrificed himself for them.

I am reading the book A Walk to Remember and I stopped on page 185 today. I have chose to write about number 4. This book is has to do a lot of Landon growing up, as well as him falling in love with Jamie. I feel throughout the entire book, Landon not only says he is growing up, but it proving that he is growing up. For example, when he has to go collect the jars Jamie set out to raise money for the orphanage, Landon donates like $200 dollars into the jar. $200 dollars was a lot of money when this book took place. I really feel these events show that he is growing up because he is showing how he is not selfish and can give up things for the people he loves. Landon is still growing up, as is he is only a teenager, but he still hopes he can grow up to be proud of the man he has become. Landon's father and grandfather were not the best role models or male figures in his life. All Landon really hopes to accomplish to be proud of himself and and to be a man even Reverend Sullivan can be proud of.

I am reading Torment, and I am on page 204. One of the characters who might be in the stickiest situation might be Luce. Luce has found out that her friend is a fallen angel and has been living for the past five hundred years. Her boyfriend, Daniel, is a very high angel who was fallen a long time ago, and fell in love with all Luce's. Not only that, but she has be incarnated into the same person. She dies at the age of 17 and seventeen years later is born again but with different parents. But she is the 'lucky Luce' because she didn't die this time because she wasn't baptized into a certain religion. Her boyfriend, Daniel, is a very high angel who was fallen a long time ago, and fell in love with all the Luces. Even when she gets to her new school Shoreline in California, all of the students there are Nephilim, or half angel - half human, and she is the outcast. One of the most reasons why Luce is in a really sticky situation is because many high angels are hunting her down and trying to kill her so Daniel can return to Heaven. I hope Luce and Daniel stay together, it would be bad for Daniel to see Luce die. I can't wait to read the rest of this book and move on to Passion!

I am reading the book, Escape: Children of the Holocaust by Allan Zullo. Today I stopped on page 63. 1. The website is blocked, so I can't see what the colors mean. But I would choose the color red for my book. The book is about the Holocaust and stories of people who lived through it. There was a lot of blood and violence during the Holocaust, so that is one reason I would choose the color. I don't know why, but I can relate the color red to the Holocaust. I think of the Nazi's armbands during WWII because they were red. The color red shows strong emotion, to me.

I am reading Deadline and I am on page 21. The main character has only his senior ear to live. THe doctors told him that he has a rare disease. His senior year he is doing everything possibly that he has imagined himself doing but has never done. This year he is going out for football instead of his traditional cross country. He was headed for a state cross country champion. He has imagined himself as a football player very since he was six. When he was six his parents decided to hold him back a year hoping he would bulk up in his size. The main character is not letting his rare disease keeping him from things he want to do but he has to keep his secret if he wants to do his things that he want to do.

I recently just finished Troy High today. The character that got in to the stickiest situation would have to be the main character, Cassie. She was best friends was a Spartan, the rivalry school and her brothers were Trojans. She never knew who to side with. Would she stick with her brothers, and not disobey them or would she go with Greg her best friends for two years. Also before the whole rivalry she kissed Greg. Which after that everything went terrible he didn't talk to her for a couple weeks. Also she told Greg what her the football players were planing to do at his school so her brothers made her get back at them. She had to hang a banner, that she didn't know what was on it. She then realized that it was an embarrassing picture of Greg, who was the student body president.

4. What I Want to Be When I Grow Up Day: Think of one of the main characters in your book. Write about that character's dreams or goals or wishes for his/her life.

I am reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks and I am on page 41. One of the main characters always knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to get good grades and be in a lot of sports and be good at them. He wanted to learn to play instruments and write music, and then after going to college, enlist in the marines. He achieved all of those things and he was who he wanted to be in life. He knew what he wanted to do and who he wanted to be as a person and he achieved it.

I am reading Football Hero and I stopped on page 227. Ty the main character in my book wants to be just like his big brother. Like many of us he is following in a elders footsteps. He wants to play for the New York Jets just as his brother does now. He is already starting his dream by being in the Jets locker room on home games. And being the star wide receiver at his middle school. Ty is insanely fast and has great hands. Therefore, when Ty grows up he wants to be a NFL wide receiver.

2. Duct Tape: Which character in your book got into the STICKIEST situation? Explain

I'm reading The Last Song; I stopped on page 323. In this novel, Ronnie gets into a very sticky situation. When she was living in New York, she got caught shoplifting. Ronnie isn't that type of person, but she felt pressure from her 'friends' to do it. Now, in Wilmington, Ronnie got caught shoplifting again. However, this time, it wasn't her. Blaze was upset with Ronnie, and when she saw her in the record store, she slipped some CD's into Ronnie's bag. Blaze knew about Ronnie's previous encounter with the law, and that was exactly why she did what she did. When Blaze walked out and Ronnie followed her, the alarms went off and the manager had to check her bag. Now, Ronnie is being tried for felony shoplifting, a crime she didn't commit.
