I am reading The Lucky One and I don't know what page I am on.
For the book The Lucky One, the songs I would chose would be You Are So Beautiful by Escape the Fate, Stop and Stare by One Republic, and She's Got the Look by Candlelight Red. I picked these songs because I think they describe Logan and the way he thinks of Beth. He thinks she is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. He wants to know about her ever since he found the picture and realized it was his good luck charm. He walked across the country to find this girl and when he does, he tries to get to know her and learn things about her.

D. Titles: DON'T just answer yes or no. Write complete sentences restating the question.
Is the title of your current book appropriate? Does the title “grab” you and make you want to read the book? Does the author title each chapter? If not, what would you title at least three of the chapters? How do you think the author chose the book title? What would you title the book? Why?

The book i am Reading right now is water for elephants by sara gruen , i am on page 179.

yes i do think the book title is appropriate for this book , because of the ending and how everything is going in the book he is someone who can work with animals and he is pro forming with them and he is building a bond with an elephant .
The book Title does grab my attention because if not something you think of all the time and its not something you hear and not wonder , when i heard it i picked up the book and read the back of is wondering what it was about then i also seen the front cover and i saw the boy and girl holding each other in front of an elephant and it made me think of a love story and something that i would want to read more of , and it just so happened everything tied in to the cover of this book very well.
i think if the chapters in this book all had titles it would end the suspension in the book , to me its a book that changes times quite a bit so in that case i dont think it should have a title name to each chapter , it keeps me wanting to read more because i want to know more about his life , where if there were chapter names i would be well this would be called the adventure to a new place or something i would guess and probably be right about what i think is going to happen in the chapter so there for i do not believe there should be names for each chapter in this book.

I am currently reading The Limit, by Kriston Landon. I'm on page 99.

I think the title of this book is appropriate because the limit is what starts the whole chaotic plot of the story. I think it grabs the readers attention because you want to find what the limit is and what it has to do with because it is so vague. The other does not title each chapter. I would name Ch. 1 Rumors, Ch 3 Going over, and Ch 5 Taken. The limit how much money you can spend. when you go over, you have to follow one of the four "plans" that the government set. One of them involves taking a child and sending to a workhouse, were they do computer work. That option was chosen by the government for Matt's family. I would title the book the limit, too. This is a good title because, as i said before, the limit is what causes all the trouble in the first place.

I am reading Passion by Lauren Kate and I am on page 154. I think it's really difficult to think of three songs for this book but I will try. One I think that I would definitely use is Burn It Down By Linkin Park because it represents the side of the evil fallen angels along with Cam and Roland. They build up this great reputation of being close to return to Heaven, but destroy that opportunity by trying to kill Luce. That results in longs suspension from Heaven for another thousand years. To fit the perfect personality of Luce would be Concrete Angel by Martina McBride because after she goes back to her past lives, it's hard to take in all the horror that she has gone through. She stands tall no matter what she sees from her past lives and she knows that Daniel loved (and still loves) her for all this time and can't get over the fact that he has watched her die hundreds of times and cries each time. Love is such a beautiful thing, isn't it? For the third and final song for the overall book, I would have to choose Halo by Beyonce. Because it took a long time for Luce to accept that she had gone through many lives and died, but she knew Daniel was there for her all the time. Daniel is one of Luce's safe heavens and will help her in any situation, like a guardian angel (who has a halo!).

Write about a memory or experience of your OWN that is similar to something you have read in your current book.
The book I am reading is to Kill a Mockingbird, and I stopped reading today on page 64. In this book Scout's brother Jem became really good friends with Dill. When they be came friends, they left Scout out of their games and conversations. I remember when my sister would do the same thing to me. Me and her would play together all the time. I would follow her around, read books with her, and sit with her during movies. One day my sister met a girl, and it seemed like we didn't really hang out together that much after that. When she was hanging out with her friend, I wasn't allowed to be by them. I felt sad because I couldn't hang out with her anymore. This happened only for a limited amount of time, then my sister hung out with me and hung out with her friend. I know what it feels like to be excluded from a group.

I am reading the book Summer Boys and I stopped on page 123. I think the title of my current book good is very appropriate. For example, the entire book is about three girls and their hardship and challenges, as well has exciting experiences with boys throughout the summer. I think title does grab your attention especially if you are one of those people who like to read romance. This title kind of gives it always that their will be romance and may make you want to read the book. Even though the author, Hailey Abbott did a great job naming the book, she did not name the chapters. I would name one of the chapters "The Break Up" because in one of the chapters Ethan and Jamie finally break up. I'd name another chapter "Dealing With Feelings" for when Beth is dealing with the fact that she might like her best guy friend more than a friend. Another chapter could be named "The Surprise Kiss" for the chapter when Peter kisses Ella out of the blue. I think the author did a very good job naming the title because it really connects with the storyline and honestly I couldn't think of a better name than the one already given.

I am reading The Under dogs and I stopped on page 73 today. I think that so far the title is very fitting. Considering that the team didn't have enough money for them to play in the season. The title grabbed me in the library because I have felt like the underdog in many situations as well. The author does not title the chapters. So a few of the chapters I would name would be Contract, Riverside, and Friend. I think that Mike Lupica chose the title because across the river there is a town that has a big factory that sponsors the team and they get all the fancy uniforms and cleats. I would keep this title because of many reasons. The team in Forbes, Pennsylvania doesn't have a lot of money nor do they have a lot of players. The most players they had the year before was 14.

I am currently reading The Running Dream and I am on page 210.
D.) I think that the title of my book is appropriate because the main character Jessica losses her leg and is striving to be back on the track. The title grabbed me an made me want to read the book. When I picked up the book and read the title I thought that a girl was never able to run until one day. The author does not title each chapter. The book is built into units and each unit has about 25 chapters in each, the author does title each unit though. I think that the author chose the book title because Jessica wants to be able to run again but she can't do think until she as a 20,000 dollar running leg. I would title the book exactly the same, The Running Dream because the Main character that is all she want to do is run.

D. I'm reading the book Bull Catcher and today I stopped on page 170. Yes, I think that the title is appropriate and relates to the story. When I checked out the book, I really didn't know what the title meant. But as I started to read it, I found out that the main character's nickname is Bull, and he plays catcher on his baseball team. Yes, the author titles each chapter. The chapters in the book are relatively long, so I haven't finished very many chapters. Most of the chapters are titled about what year he's in. An example would be: Spring - Junior Year. I think the author chose to title the book "Bull Catcher" because of his nickname and position. If I could pick a title I might just leave it the way it is, because it made me want to read it and find out more about the story.

I'm reading Letters from the Inside and I'm on page 39. The title of the book is appropriate because both of the girls are writing letter to each other and they say stuff they've never even told their best friends. Yes it did, i read the back and it said that one of them could be lying on what is happening in her life. I thought that it would be interesting to see what she is lying about in her letters. No he doesn't i'd title the first chapter Strangers to Friends then the next chapter would be The Unforgettable. Finally, Think and the Thin. The author choose it because they are telling each other personal information through pen pals. I wouldn't change the title because it explains it completely.

B. Write about a memory or experience of your OWN that is similar to something you have read in your current book.

I'm reading Tex by S.E. Hinton; I stopped on page 176. In this book, Tex's horse is his best friend. In the fall, Mason, Tex's older brother, sold Negrito. They had no money left because their dad left them, and their mom died years ago. Tex was absolutely livid when Mason told him he sold Negrito. This reminds me of when my dad sold our horses. We had three horses when I was a kid, and one of them, Rex, was mine. I connect to Tex because I know what it feels like to lose something you love. Though I was younger than Tex, I still remember it and think about it.
