Kay Shea of Haworth had had a series of mini strokes and is in Englewood Hospital. Kay has limited mobility and not been to many Cursillo gatherings in recent times. Her husband Vin Shea is the moderator of the Sacred Heart 4th Day meetings which may be the largest in the Archdiocese. Please keep them in your prayers.

Teri Carr's sister, Maureen ('Mo') Kiernan, is having extremely serious surgery on Monday, February 12th. She needs as many prayers as can be said...so let's unite with the best tool God gives us in answering our petitions...especially at 7:30 am when she is in surgery at Sloan Kettering.

Here is a post from Facebook from Lennie Joseph please keep them in your prayers.

"We went to see my wife Doreen in the hospital, they say maybe Friday she'll go to Kessler. Not the way she looks. She is in horrible pain and the little things that we take for granted, like breathing, eating and going to the bathroom are a big struggle, because she is still hooked up to that inlet draining fluid from the left lung. I'm a mess over this. I hate seeing my baby like this, and I wish I was there instead of her."

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I tell you that on Thursday the angels came to escort my brother Don Ford into God's loving arms. I'm sure my Mom and Dad, KayHynes, Russ and Liz Rovneyko (all Cursillistas) are welcoming him home.
I ask the Lord to bless you for your prayerful generosity. Your prayers have meant so much to us.
Thank you so much.

Please Pete Fusco's grandson Ethan (under age ten) in your prayers. On June 1st, he undergoes a difficult operation to remove tumors.

I also want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind thoughts over the past 4+ months since my bone marrow transplant. During the past month, I have finally turned the corner, gaining some weight back, and getting out for local events such as daily mass. We will probably not be able to come to the opening/closing of the Women's weekend but hope to see you all in the coming months.
