Hi all, Whitley Auctions, Florida, is selling Elaine Cooper's salts. "Worth Their Salt: The Open Salts Collection of Elaine Cooper" The first group are for sale on January 19th and contain the best items from her collection. Many of the items for sale are in her book, Daulton Open Salts. I do not know when they will sell the remaining salts. Enjoy!

I collected salts for many years. I have about 500 and need to sell them. Some are ordinary, but others are more unique. I also have about 50 salt spoons. I am not interested in using EBay or other online sources. Does anyone have any suggestions? My email address ismhejpd0220@yahoo.com. Thanking anyone in advance.

We have around 1000 salts. Most likely will be auctioning them all off in the coming weeks. I'll keep you posted.

I agree with Nancy. It’s hard to say looking at that view. It could be a tea light holder. Those are often confused with open salts. But it’s very hard to say from that perspective.

Nancy, your piece looks lovely. But we need dimensions and perhaps another view from a different perpective.
There are people on this site who have a lot of knowledge and they love to help collectors. Just give us some more information.

Is this a master salt cellar or some mystery item to put in my cabinet of pretty things?
