We need your help!
Macarthur 24 hour fight against cancer along with BODYWAR Outdoor Group Fitness are proud to announce that we will be running the very first 24 hour team race to be held at Campbelltown Athletics Stadium on February 16 and 17th 2013.
The event will consist of 30 teams of four runners in which only one team member will be on the track at all times during the 24 hour race. The team with the most laps recorded at the completion of the race is the winner. Each team can decide between themselves how many laps they will run before interchanging with a team mate. There is no minimum or maximum amount of laps they have to complete before changing.
This event is a fund raiser for the 24 hour fight and all donations will be spent in the hospitals in the Macarthur area. To gain entry to this event each team will have to pay $1000 deposit between them and will then be given a fundraising kit in which they will be urged to raise as much money as possible. Once each team has raised $1000 they will be given their deposits back. Athletes Foot at Macarthur Square has kindly donated a $1000 voucher for whichever team raises the most money for this event.
Campbelltown Athletics Stadium has a state of the art running track built purposely for training of overseas athletes in the lead up to the 2000 Olympics.
There will be trophies awarded to the following categories:
Overall Team Champions (most laps completed)
Mixed Champions
All Men’s Champions
All Ladies Champions
This is a fundraising event in which the hospitals in the Macarthur area are so desperately in need of further funds so we urge you to participate and raise as much money as possible to help those who are in need.
We are expecting this event to be very exciting for the teams involved and we are sure there will be a buzz in the air being the very first one. Would you like to participate?

Hi Everyone,
I have just moved to the Tahmoor area and was wondering if anyone still goes to Thirlmere lakes on a Sunday morning? I'm interest in running this track, plus a lot more Bush trails if anyone can let me know where some good ones are!
thanks

Update for all who attended Christmas in July at the Cutting Edge.

It has been decided by those who best make such decisions that we purchase Lottery Ticket this time round from our winnings soooooooooooo.

11 $2-00 tickets have been purchased in Lottery No.9310
and 11 $2-00 tickets have also been purchased in Lottery No.9311

So lets hope that we have the right ticket for the BIG one, good luck everyone.

What a night our Christmas in July was and to think we could have all ended up MILLIONAIRS if only our numbers came up. The tickets were for only the people who attended the night.

We did get 4 numbers and 1 sup so we have the grand sum of $47-15 to play
with soooooooooooo when a few of us get together we'll decide how we will
spend it on more tickets, still for only those who attended the night.

Hey Ladies & Gents
I'm not sure if I can make it tonight (may be needed at footy training) but I think I'm down for the trainer with the Puffers as well. Sorry-but will be there if at all possible. (hope someone reads this in time!). By the way my Roosters were robbed-it's an outrage!
