Hello! I was wondering how many hours I can log as field experience for the things I do during the school day. There are a few of us in the same situation, where our job is to teach others how to use educational technology. Thanks!

Does the 17th question on the Synthesis Journal require a written response? Thanks!

Good questions, Diana and Milagros.

Many EEV collaborations have to do with capturing stories or having experiences and then creating expressions of thoughts, feelings, or actions. Those expressions are what we are getting at with these terms. On the other hand, interpret them as you wish, given the EEV Key Elements and their relationship to all you have learned so far.

I am trying to enter the field work into the database but I'm not sure about the contact information. I am using the workshop from Saturday, so how do I fill out that portion? Should I include Faye as the person to contact?

What exactly do you mean by "Communications and Expressionings"? I'm not sure how this fits in with the other 3 topics.

I just wanted to stop in and see if Warm up 4 is correct as:
"Expressioning"?

Good questions.

The first step for the field experiences is to look through the Field Experience database and see the kinds of categories there. Also look at what we ask of you as you submit a field experience. Then, we will continue to talk. The faculty are making a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section to address some of the questions have heard about field experiences.

The logs will be described to all in our team soon (either 11/12 or 11/26) or sometime in between. Basically, we ask you to write a few sentences after each workshop, evaluating it for you. All mentors see these submissions but not other students.

I was just wondering if someone could explain to me what the field experience is, and what can be used toward that 50 hour requirement? Also, I was just reading our next class assignments and EEVC logs were mentioned. What are they? Thank you!

Yes, Danielle. They can. You'll need to post them in the fieldwork database. Firstly, make sure you can account for your five for the semester. Then, take the rest and add them to fieldwork!

Do additional workshops count as fieldwork?

Did it work, Mike? It is NOT that you should just know anything like this! We have this space and e-mail access to us all so you can ask if something doesn't seem intuitive to you. Thanks, Christine. Yes. Karen invited you. You need to go into the space and log in.

Hi Mike - You have to be a member of wikispaces to add to the wiki. You'll have to create an account.

I just tried to see our Warm Up 2. It took me to the wiki, but I didn't see our projects there. No I need to create an account for the wiki? Sorry. I feel like I should know this. Thanks.

So... between 9/23 (the last message) and now, 10/5, you're all doing fine?! We're here if you want us.

And... I'll be online via Marratech tomorrow morning, 9:30 am to 10:00 am, if you can get in and want to give video conferencing a try.
