DEATH OF FORMER CRANBERRY RESIDENT--My father Richard H Cox, a summer resident of Big Cranberry for more than 40 years along with his family, passed in the hospital on October 22, 2015 after falling at his home in Buffalo, NY. Dad loved coming to the island and had many wonderful relationships with all the good folks there over the years. While plans still have to be finalized, a memorial service on the island is possible sometime during the last 2 weeks of August, 2016, followed by his burial with my mom in Bangor. Richard is survived by his brother Roland, his sons Jonathan, Jeremy and Richard, as well as 6 grandchildren: Christopher(1), Benjamin, Daniel, Christopher(2), Joshua, and Isabelle.
