Thank you all for your prayers. Yes God is our burden bearer. Without Him I would not be able to face the trials and tribulations that life brings. God has given me much comfort with this situation. My dilema is should I have someone investigate his files so this neglect does not happen to someone else who doesn't have family members there to look after them, or not do anything.  Somehow not doing anything when you know something is wrong doesn't seem right. I have passed this on to many in the hospital.  I don't want to hurt anyone and I am not bitter by no means, that's why no hasty decision. Keep praying for me to make good decisons. Thanks!

Praying for you this morning, Cathy. Our God is a good God, and He will always be there for us. It's been said many times that "God won't put on you more than you are able to bear." That's not true. There are times in life when circumstances are overwhelming. Those are the times when God becomes our burden bearer and enables us to carry on when we can't carry on by ourselves.

Know that your Christian brothers and sisters are praying for you today and that God is ever present and always able.

There are three kinds of people: 1: Those who can count & 2: Those who can't.

Please pray for my family. Alot of decisions to be made. My father has been very ill due to the neglect of the physicians at the nursing home he is in. They refused to check my father for urinary infection after 2 weeks of nurses and family requesting. Blood in urine heavy sediment. I had to go all over hospital to get the doctor on call to look at him 2 Sundays ago. He ordered test and when I came in on Monday my dad was shaking I put a blanket on him thinking he was cold at first. I checked on him 15 minutes later he was shaking hard and I yelled out will someone help my dad. They took vitals bood pressure way out of wack and he is on blood pressure medicine. They put him in bed had fever then he began to choke and I had to lift him up which all this fluid came out. They put him on oxygen and then he went out till late that night. Cultures back Sepis (blood posioning due to them not treating him promptly) plus 2 resistant urinary tract infections. Scary thought. However during his cat scan they found lung cancer which we would have never known had he not been sick. He now has gotten shingles. Mom still dealing with last stage ovarian cancer the last 20 months. Every one has different opions on the care.
It so hard when you take care of your father at home for 7 years and then you have to release that care to someone else who doesn't treasure that person like you do. My dad has been sick 10 times up there in 2 years and 7 out of the 10 we have had to go to the uriologists, cheif of staff, head of medical services, call acting cheif of staff, nursing supervisor, doctor on call in another ward. Unbelivable. I know my dad is 85 but he still deserves health care. I hope know one has to go thru this. I'm so glad God is in control and he sees everything and knows everything.

Just got a call from Milani Richards informing me that Pam Richard's father, Eugene Cook, passed away this morning around 10AM in Winston-Salem after a lengthy illness. Plans are still being finalized right now, so I have no other information at this time. Just wanted to get the word out to all the Music Ministry so you can be praying for the family during their time of loss.

I have two girls who are struggling with SWAT funds this year. Their family has been hit hard in the last year and they need financial help to be able to minister on tour with us this summer. If there's anyone who might be interested in helping out, please contact me at: heartofworship@nc.rr.com or call me at 910-527-9666.

Pray for Pam Richard's father, Gene Cook. His kidneys are beginning to shut down. Pray for Mr. Cook and for Pam as they go through this time. Mr. Cook knows Jesus as his Savior, but there are some family members that don't. Pam is asking us to pray that the Lord will do His work in their lives and that there will be healing and reconciliation.

Just spoke with Bob. Pastor Jeff and Jimmy were with He and Debra as she slipped away from this life to her eternal one. Debra is now safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Arrangements are still being made now. Will let everyone know more as information comes in. Thank you to everyone who has prayed. Continue to pray for the Bob and family.

Sandra Ball called a little while ago to tell me that Jame's mother (Estelle) passed away this afternoon in Lumberton. She had been on hospice care and her health was dwindling away. But now she is free from pain and having the time of her eternal life! Keep James and the family in your prayers these next few days as they remember Estelle and prepare to celebrate her homecoming.

Update on Debra Barnes. She is in the ICU unit at Moore County Hospital. They are having a hard time waking her up after her surgery yesterday to remove infection from her brain. Jimmy is on his way over there this afternoon (Monday, May 9th) to be with Bob and Debra. I know they would appreciate your continued prayers right now.
