Hello Terry,

I'm live in Oxford, MS. Sounds like fun, what make/model RUV did you decide to get?

Also, I curious about what make/model GPS you use. I purchased a Garmin StreetPilot 2720 about two years ago. Got it mounted on my Gold Wing. Compared to the newer GPS units today, it big and bulkly but worth it's weight when traveling around the country.

Best regards,

Mike

Thanks for the responce Mike. You are the first, although this has been here awhile. I've haven't been very active with POI lately as I've just got a new RUV and been doing alot of trail riding. Where are you located? I'd still like to persue this idea.

Welcome. I thought this would make it easier to have a team effort on the "Scenic & MC Friendly Stops for Motorcycles" project. I'm not sure exactly how to proceed because I'm new to GPS and POI's (but did create the MC Campgrounds POI at POI Factory). I'm open to suggestions and ideas.

My initial thoughts are to collect POI's with

Longitude Latitude Name Information

by state and then assembling into csv and gpx files to post for all back at POI Factory. Thinking we can just collect them as we ride, unless we already know of some to include now.

Let me know what you think. I'm set up to recieve e-mail for all posts made here. You can also if you choose to.
