There are always offices across the nation with positions that you're seeking.

There is absolutely, positively no possibility way of anyone getting MGMT to post them.

No because career carrier time doesn't count at all for career clerks.

So assuming clerk was there before you, was a clerk prior to June 2017, you are not senior.

Good morning all,

I started at the Watsonville installation in March of 2013 as a pse.

Transferred to Capitola as a cca in May 2015.

I became a regular carrier a month later (June 2015).

Then, transferred back to Watsonville as a Regular Clerk craft in June 2017.

Do I have more sonority over a Clerk that just became regular because I have more Career years of service?

Just curious.

Thank you.

Your personal experience applied to yourself, your local office and you alone. It's not a national policy so don't infer that it is.
The number of workers fluctuates according to the needs of the service, what might be needed 3yrs ago is not what's needed now.

help for Pappy

They way it is supposed to work, the job is supposed to be posted for 30 days. Anyone in a 50 mile radius that is being outsourced (such as plant or store closing) will have preference. If no one applies for the position, then the PSE will automatically get the promotion to PTF and the office will have to post a PSE position. If no one applies for it, it is possible that the position will stay vacant until the PSE has reached the end of their 1 year tour before promotion, then the promotion could occur at that time. I know when I became PTF years ago that was the case. I had to wait until my tour was up before promotion.

Can somebody help. Is this true? Level 20 office. 3 full time clerks, 1ptf, 1pse. The ptf transferred out. Will the pse automatically get the ptf job or does it have to be posted on ereassign?
 Thanks for the help!!!

Lemme guess, you're a US Postal worker and you get your education from American public schools.

"anyone know about travel pay being given/denied for out of office ot?".

Is this the general education's level of US Postal workers? Or is it the result of a broken American education's system?
