   All appeals have been exhausted, the settlement process will now move forward. Class Counsel thanks all for their patience.

  As a reminder to all class members in the Pittman class action who will receive payment, The Pittman class action is a spinoff of the Glover Class Action, settled in 2003, which also involved permanent rehabilitation employees. Most of the claimants in Pittman are the same class members who received payouts in the Glover class.

  At the time the Glover settlement was negotiated, the Agency refused to add the issue of denial of overtime for permanent rehabilitation employees. Because the Agency refused to include the overtime issue as part of the Glover Settlement, Class Counsel brought the Walker class action regarding this one issue. The Walker class was later renamed the Pittman class.

***** Accordingly, the Pittman class action is a spinoff from the Glover class action. The settlement amount for the Pittman class participants is $12,287,500. Of the over 40,000 permanent rehabilitation employees, there are 11,275 claimants in the Pittman class action, who will receive payment.***********

    In accordance with the terms of the settlement agreement, USPS has 30 days from May 15, 2017, to transfer fund to the Claims Administrator to establish the Qualified Settlement Fund for distribution to the eligible class members whose timely claims were accepted and who qualified for payments.


   Not all individuals who file claim forms and qualified for payment. We anticipate the distribution of settlement funds will begin by June 30, 2017.

I need your help. (ASAP)I need the actual definition of what an LCB (Letter Carrier Box) is, and I need the source where you pull the definition from. Trying to show that this box is only accessible by way of a KEY, and that only carriers of that particular office has access to it. Thanks!!!

I just got out of rehab, I have ADHD. Everyday I was called a lazy piece of shit drug addict by the Supervisor's roommate. Then I was terminated for falsifying my criminal misdemeanor driving violations for MHA position. Even though the box no longer exists on application. I reapplied, but, not hired because HR is more astringent on their selection and will not hire me because of my criminal record. I filed for formal hearing. Prima feca case harrassment disability and gender. I need atty for my hearing. I think hearing will b in Milwaukee, WI.

Hi KimmieK...I think the concept of *Equal *Employment *Opportunity is admirable. However, the process is shameful. If any company (large or small) does not expect basic human decency and integrity as part of it's work environment, then requiring an EEO process be in place is simply a facade...a front, deception, veneer.

I've sent several emails, which as required included the AJ, the postal attorney and my rep.
January 2015 was the last of numerous hearing dates held for this case. I initiated a status inquiring group email Spring 2016, receiving a reply indicating a decision was scheduled for early summer. Since no decision appeared, Fall 2016 I sent another group email, which included the previous Spring 2016 email exchanges. My last group inquiring email, was prior to Spring 2017. My preferred communication style included understanding of busy schedules mixed with a little humor.

/m11964 just keep filing EEOs, every time a time limit expires or management looks at you wrong. the more you have will bring light to your issues.

I had 14 going at once and that many helped settle the main one.

Thank you for your suggestion and no I haven't submitted a Motion. Honestly, prior responses to my inquiries into the delay/status (ie 1 yr) of previous EEO claims have all resulted in denials and all within 1 month of my inquiries. Yes my Congressman was involved in the previous EEO's. Actually my first encounter with a manager's retaliation, began after filing a work environment concern and meeting with my Congressman over 13 years ago. Honestly, my experience over the course of numerous hearing days was interesting to say the least and I will give my assigned AJ credit for maintaining a respectful atmosphere. The EEO process itself as a means to help resolve complaints, is..........

Have you tried submitting a "Motion to Set Status Conference" for say early May 2017? This will put the Judge on notice about your case being un-adjudicated for so long. If the Judge ignores your motion then you might want to think about sending a letter to your local congressman informing him of the situation with dates relevant to your case. The Motion is a step you need to show (as the moving party) that you want your case resolved before going above the EEO to the people that control its budget. Mention your Motion and any non response in your letter to your Congressman.
