Tis Spring, and a young man's fancy lightly turns to a new Comments page {cc}.

I want a Kilgore Trout of Doom.

I might not know everything about Disney, but what I lack in knowledge, I make up for with the shinanegains, more often than not involving that large trout.
Beats research!

We should all take a hint from the Gontermaster of writing and just insert Trouts of Doom in our posts whenever:
1) we receive a comment.
2) we don't understand something.
3) we're lacking in knowledge of something.
4) whenever we're starving for attention, when even a halfhearted LOL will make our spirits rise and make us glad to be alive

But back to the Wiki post:
Anyone else catch that that godawful sketch was for the Glenn Beck Insider Forums? Boy, I bet Beck's just creaming his slacks knowing that someone with an obtuse sense of humor and a shitastic drawing style drawed him some fancy art! Gontie's probably readying himself for an onslaught of conservative pundits slavering over his Trout of Doomy goodness!

Kisso: Okay, you know the rules, Mister. If you don't do what I say, I'll demote you.
AdamPackbell: And I'll slap you around with my Trout of Doom{cc}

At this point a lot of other pirates were LOL-ing.

Kisso: Keep it up and I'll expell you from the crew.
AdamPackbell: And I'll *still* slap you around.

By this point, even Lady Kisso was laughing.

Davey? They weren't LOLing at your cute shenanigans.

Speaking of bad writers and trout of doom, here's wingnut extraordinaire Jeff Goldstein. I read the whole thing because I am very bored. Peeyew!

On the second page of the Google results, there's someone else who uses the phrase and puts a copyright mark after it...So he wasn't even original in doing that.
