Thanks Adrian. It'll be all right in the long term, but some adjustments are required, and some coming to terms with things. We'll discuss publicly when we're ready, but for the nonce, just wanted people not to be offended if we're not as public as we have been.

if you can imagine us appearing less in public, that is.....

Very sorry to hear, even obliquely, about the mystery diagnosis. Hang in there.

Hi Marianna,

Nice tongue.

You know, I just don't get to say that enough to women.....

There's a template for a cut-out-and-assemble TARDIS in the Doctor Who Technical Manual (I can lend you mine, if you don't have one).

LOL
A Tardis shouldn't be too hard. Cardboard and sticky tape are great at kids craft.

That would be cool! Next year's craft project may have to be a tree-topper: a couple of years ago an in-law who knew an artist who did some work for the BBC promised us she'd organise for him to make and send us a TARDIS for the tree, but it never, uh, materialised.

So we might just have to make our own, and give a side to each kid to colour. It could end up being the TARDIS version of John Lennon's Rolls Royce....

Many many years back, I made a decoration for the top of our mini tree. Looking back at this makes me laugh, because I made a fat chick icon, with halos of colour streaming from her head.

Real good Christian spirit, me.

When you put your email address in that last post - you spelt your own name wrong. Just thought I'd point this out nice and publicly.

Dinosaurs is cool. Queensland is the Bollywood of Dinosaurs. Ergo: Queensland is cool, with bizarre dance sequences for no reason at all!

The Lee knows all.

And how cool is it that they've removed that book? Much cheering ensues. Now, the question to ask Janet Regan: if you were willing to spend $3.5M on the book, how much of it are you willing to give to the people he still hasn't paid compensation to?

Plus Queensland is way cool. We have dinosaurs. Ask Lee. :)

Dinosaurs, but no water, would you bring some with you, please, Lee? Dinosaurs, the Planetarium, free movies in the park, Citycat ferries and lots of SF writers. These are a few of my favourite things.

Good news even for those of us who are not one of those anti-freedom of speech, book-burning, righteous hatred types: News Corp has spiked the Simpson book.
