Endorsements from Foreign Leaders

Oooh, international-scale dick-swinging contest. This will be a *good* election year.

I am a world leader and I endorse Kerry. Either that or I am grandiose and delusional. I still endorse Kerry though, albeit reluctantly. Because no matter how crazy I am, I am still in touch with things enough to know that probably most foreign leaders are hoping Kerry will win. That includes both the "good guys" and the leaders who aren't white.

Let's face it, for anyone who isn't on the far right, George Bush has not been a good president. Ok, he hasn't really been a good president for anyone except for some of his close friends but since some of those folks on the far right believe he has been a good president, I'll give it to them.

I am not surprised that I hide my name either, btw. It is so I can be insulting without having to face the consequences. "Big deal of the day" is an idiot and a fool. Ahhhh, the bliss of annonymous flaming. It is like slipping into a nice hot bath. AHHHHHHH.

I don't mind your "contribution" - knee-jerk conservativism is rather amusing. I am not surprised you hide your name.

Did you look at the site you posted? You really think that Ayatollah Khomeini endorses Kerry? You are aware, aren't you, that Khomeini died some fifteen years ago?

Further, are you aware that if your claim is correct, and Kerry is endorsed by this panoply of world leaders, the Bush Administration is being dishonest on the subject? So you are telling us that Kerry is honest and Bush is being mendacious?

The foreign leaders supporting John Kerry's presidential bid are here. Several of these are probably the ones that Senator Kerry talked to.

The Kerry Campaign is probably bidding up the Imaginary Foreign Leader Endorsement auction on eBay in order to claim at least one endorsement for the Senator.

No, I missed it; but I am not surprised that others have similar thoughts.

Were you listening to Talk of the Nation on NPR yesterday? ;)

Truel. Also, some endorsements would likely be counter-productive. For example, even if Jacques Chirac were willing to step forward and declare his support for Kerry, I doubt Kerry would find that helpful.

I don't think that getting endorsements from the heads of state of foreign nations would help Kerry much anyways. Americans aren't exactly known for caring too much about what other countries think. Especially certain European countries.
