Dean is nothing more than a socialist with socialism ideals. He has very scary ideas and such ideas have no place in the United States of America. He will not be running against Bush, he will lost to another democratic candidate in the primaries.

Dean appears to be very arrogant and sure of his own superiority.

While I can't exactly follow your Streisand screed, Ono, I will say that I like Dean's self-assuredness. He is a vocal critic of the Bush administration and their policies, and that's something I want in a candidate. I agree with the notion that the Democrats simply can't win by being Bush Lite, but beyond that, even if Dean doesn't win, as a candidate, he'll have set the agenda of questions that Bush has to answer throughout his campaign. Dean asks pointed questions; I just don't see the other Democratic hopefuls doing that.

I will say that Dean ought to blog a few entries himself rather than letting his staffers run the site.

Once Dean prostituted himself, prostrating himself before the altar of "Barbra" Streisand, he revealed himself and probably signed his political death sentence. Dean is as ignorant of the anger of many people over the fact that people like Streisand should not have be represented by anything other than the ONE VOTE that the rest of us are entitled to. Americans CAN and DO make up their own minds, which is simply not acceptable to many here. Dean appears to be very arrogant and sure of his own superiority. This is not the knight in shining armor for those of you whose sole requirement in a candidate is the continuance of the guarantee of abortion on demand and gay affirmative action. You will have to put your support behind another Democratic horse for this race, because Dean will not make it to the finish line when his shortcomings are exposed to the fll bore of the campaign. But don't be disappointed for Dean - there's a wet and warm willing womb waiting for Dean back at the Streisand estate as long as he remains in the race and meets the proper agenda requirements!

John Kerry's starting to emerge - literally as of today - as your leading man, because he's finally doing something the rest haven't figured out yet - RETURNING TO DECENT LIBERAL ROOTS AND FORMING A PLAN AND A CHALLENGE TO HELP AMERICA! What a novel concept for this age!

It has been a fun day already and the day is not even half over!

Great. Something that combines the inanity of the worst blogs with the happynews blandness of a national poltical campaign. Finally, something that makes a FARK flamewar look appealing by comparison...

I aver that 'blogstumping' eclipses 'gubernatorial' as the ugliest word in English.

Don't forget howarddean.tv. Dean is a powerful speaker, and I've really enjoyed watching unedited video of his speeches to various groups. I hope he does receive the Democratic nomination, because I want to see Bush forced to face some pointed critiques during the debates, not the milquetoast me-too-isms that I know we'll get from Lieberman and Kerry.

I think Dean's use of the internet is brilliant and getting better each day. The Meetups his campaign is organizing are getting huge; some restaurants can't contain all the participants. This is the kind of problem you want to have 17 months before the election.
