Correct. You have a set schedule. No longer than 1 hour for lunch. Holiday pay will be what ever your time is for that day whether it is Monday @ 6 hrs or Saturday @ 2 hrs

Southern- Some of us aren't NTFT flex'es. The 6 hour offices are NTFT positions and we are scheduled a regular schedule 6 days per week.

79. How many hours of leave do NTFT employees receive on a holiday?
ANSWER: All NTFT employees will receive 8 hours holiday leave pay on their holiday or
designated holiday. An employee with a regular NTFT schedule of more than 8 hours on
a holiday or designated holiday may, at his/her option, use nonscheduled time or annual
leave for the remaining hours of the tour. Sick leave may be approved only for hours in
excess of 8 hours and if the employee is scheduled to work and meets the other sick
leave usage requirements. To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be in a pay
status the last hour of the employee’s last scheduled workday prior to or the first hour of
the employee’s first scheduled workday after the holiday.

My PM checked with Labor - I will get 8 hours for any holiday pay. Even if it results in OT.

Regarding NTFT (flex) holiday pay. Sorry I don't agree with Moose4800 getting 8 hours of holiday pay for a day scheduled to work 2.5. There was no explanation why off Friday. But the holiday is recognized on Saturday. Moose4800 would get 2.5 hrs of holiday pay. There would not be any OT pay resulting from getting paid holiday pay.
The NTFT general description of benefits are based on a 5 day week, and often you have to dig deeper to get how the benefits fall out for NTFT flexibles. Schedules change, or they work varying hours each day. The job benefits are very misleading.
So if the reason Moose4800 is off Friday is AL (annual leave). Pay would be 7.5 for Mon-Thurs;7.5 AL; and 2.5 Holiday Pay. Adding up to 40 hours. Moose4800 would not have a reduced paycheck, nor would there be any OT.

I agree with Riksny. You'll get paid for 8 on Saturday even if you aren't normally scheduled for 8. From the info available on Blue, as long as you work on Friday or Monday you'll be paid for the holiday. If you aren't scheduled Fri-Mon you'll be out of luck.

Parcel - Maximum size is 108" in combined length and girth (distance around the thickest part).
Large Parcel - Maximum size is 130" in combined length and girth (distance around the thickest part). Contents must weigh less than 70 lbs.
Irregular Parcel - Rolls and tubes up to 26 inches long.

Screw ups by others does not make it right. Make sure you take pics of any suspect parcels to have as evidence when you hurt yourself and have to file a workman's comp claim.

All team lift parcels should be left at office and the customer notified.

I was just looking that up on Blue last week Moose. NTFT clerks are paid 8 hours for holidays according to the agreement. From what I read as long as you work the day before or the first workday after you should get 8, weekday or Saturday. That's what I'm going to submit on my time card. If the TACS officials don't like it they should contact my APO to question it.
