Glad you're sharing your thoughts on this, Steve. I particularly like the phrase, "a suspension of belief." It seems to me that genuinely authentic faith begins when the believer reaches that point when received wisdom no longer suffices, and they must discover their own. The suspension of belief moment is a must.
