Thanks to all. Just knowing I can leave whenever I feel is the best feeling ever. I got smile on my face all day long. My new postmaster already asked if I can stay a little longer to run the office because she needs a vacation. I said NO. The only thing I will miss are my customers at the window. They hate knowing I am retiring but it's time to go. I sure hope I don't get a letter to help this Christmas I will send back.

It would be funny 😆, Hannah because now that I’m home sedentary I can barely lift my legs

It might be fun to sign up just to see if they can get 25% of what they used to get out of you. What are they going to do? Fire you? If they confront you, you could just say you are doing an experiment to see if you can get taken off the mailing list.

Congrats 939!
One thing about the fedweek countdown clock , it does countdown to your MRA with the required years of service but you do need to stay the full month of your MRA to get the supplement.

Three more weeks till I retire from CSRS. I took 4 months off and used up all my sick leave on hand surgery. I decided to change my retirement date to Oct 1st just to make sure retirement is what I wanted. I went back the day after the holiday and said what the heck was I thinking.
The best part is I am now 55yrs old and can retire when I want and not wish for that early out anymore. It is such a amazing feeling once you get close finish line.
