Scientology? Yuck. There's indeed lots of information about them online in the newsgroup and others. I came across an (old) article about them the other day:

really scary stuff.

Hello. Just found this posting so I'm very late in replying, but I've been a Scientologist for many years, and where I respect your right to your own beliefs, I really recommend all those who posted here check Scientology out for yourselves, personally. Scientology is a religion, it does operate for public benefit. In more than 30 years of experience with Scientology I have found this to be true in any Scientology church I've ever visited.

Not for profit only refers to certain shells of the Scientology entity. Keep in mind that the cult switches from being a for-profit help group (Dianetics) to a religion (Scientology) depending upon who it is dealing with. Of course they said not-for-profit, and, in case you missed the point you stupid wogs, they said it again just to make sure you got it. They own huge chunks of property along Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles. Their stunted leader, David Miscavige, lives in an immense stone mansion on a resort the cult bought north of Hemet, Ca. Perhaps they've redefined "profit" the same way they redefined "ethical" to mean, "it's okay to rip off widows and orphans as long as little Davey can afford them steak and lobster dinners and gambling jaunts to Vegas."

Isn't it traditional for want ads to identify who you'll be working for?<br>
That was great that you found that, sounds like scientology - well, except for the non-profit part, as Stefan said.

"Not for profit?"

Nah, can't be Scientology.
