Wow; a KD surfacing!; most excellent; I have been concerned; and now express joy and extend warm wishes

Here's a good short summary: http://www.swiss.ai.mit.edu/6805/articles/morris-worm.html . This site seems to cover the territory pretty exhaustively: http://www.worm.net/ . Katie Hafner and John Markoff wrote a book titled Cyberpunk: Outlaws and hackers on the computer frontier (Simon & Schuster, 1991). It is an in-depth study of three famous cases: Kevin Mitnick (not counting his escapade of winter 1995), the German Chaos Computer Club, and Robert Morris's Internet Worm.
